Such a great clinic and such a greater doctors!

I’ve been visited by Dr. Mina Nafooti this week. She is really a thorough and amazing doc. She took my history in detail and very patiently, did a complete examination and discussed with me thoroughly about her diagnosis and treatment in details. I really enjoyed my appointment with her.

My first appointment with Dr Mina was so lovely! She’s such a warm and kindhearted lady that makes you feel welcomed and at ease which is really important when you’re stressed about health issues. She’s also excellent and experienced with women’s health.

Terrible clinic. Had an appointment booked with Dr Mina which the clinic changed one hour prior to it as she wasn't there, rebooked 4 days latet, not impressed. Arrived to wait for that appointment and after an hour asked how much longer, receptionist had no idea what was happening, waited for another 20 min before telling the receptionist I'll have to reschedule and she surprisingly asked"oh, how come you haven't been seen ". They can't manage their way out of a paper bag and i dread to think what the Dr's are like if the front office is so unprofessional and clueless.
We're currently looking for a Dr else where for our teen age kids, avoid this place.

Avoid this clinic at all costs. I am new to the area and had been looking for a new local doctors for some time and had landed on ZPlus because of their credibility and chose to dismiss other 1 star reviews on this forum, BIG MISTAKE!

I have been to this clinic twice the first to discuss a vulnerable topic in which I was met with a condescending and degrading interaction with Dr Farshid Kavian. He then issued a blood test to check everything was okay to be able to write me a script for medication. When I attended the pathology lab to get my test done, he had ordered a swab test too in which I had asked the nurse why that would have been the case as my issue wasn't relevant to whether or not I had a cold etc (which I did not have anyway). She still had to do a swab test of my nose as that was what the doctor had detailed on the pathology test.

When I returned to discuss the results of the blood test, Dr Farshid Kavian asked me why I had a swab test done, like I was the one who ordered the pathology test? He then said the results of my blood test were fine and he was going to write a script for 3 months worth of medication and we could re-evaluate after that point.

I then head out to reception and the receptionist informed me she would process the rebate and email me a copy of the receipt yet, this never happened.

When I got home, I had noticed the script had only been issued for one month and no repeats. I headed back into the clinic this morning and the lovely Katie, assisted me with getting a printed copy of my receipt and set me up with a phone appointment for today with Dr Farshid Kavian.

When he called, I mentioned that the script had been written with no repeats in which he explained that he could only write the script with no repeats and we would need to reassess each month which is incorrect as I have been on this medication before. I had let him know that this was miscommunicated by him as this was NOT the discussion that was had at the clinic and had asked if that meant that I would have to book 2 more appointments and fork out $80 each time. The answer from Dr Farshid Kavian was "yes, but it's not about the $80, we have enough clients at the clinic". And yes, I did indeed have to fork out another payment to have this conversation.

He asked if I was happy to continue on this medication in which I said I was. Proceeding, he asked if I had experienced any side effects, I replied "no". He then said "no mood swings?" of all the side effects that others may encounter, this was the one he specifically queried.

I am extremely well spoken and the entirety of the interactions I have had at this clinic are nothing short of degrading and patronizing. This has had a significant impact on me and has taken a shock to my confidence as I was already presenting myself in a vulnerable state. This clinic is not only unprofessional, they are also unethical.

You will also wait an hour sometimes more past an appointment time. This however is not an issue for me as I understand on a case-by-case basis that appointments can run their over allocated time but can empathize with those who also experience this.

Referred by my dr to see the Audiologist here. Made me feel really welcomed . Gentle and informative. I felt really safe in her hands and she is an excellent at reassuring every step of the process.
The room was clean and bright.
I would highly recommend. If you want expert care and a friendly face then this is the place

First impressions are good. I’ve been going in & out at Z Plus Clinics for a week now cause of surgery. They’re good BUT still about their money. They could’ve bulk billed me. Apart from that they’re good at what they do. Beware of the wait times.
