We have 2 branches of this chemist nearby. Lakewood is by far my preference for a number of reasons:
1) The staff (Chemists and store support staff) are always welcoming, very friendly and helpful. I feel seen and acknowledged as a regular.
2) Staff offer information when not prompted and when they think it is something you should know .... so they are truly thoughtful and caring.
3) The service is always quick, accurate and efficient.
3) The store is easy to navigate and feels nice to be in. It feels personal.
So, Thank you to each of you for all you do for me and my family. BRAVO ?

Too many mistakes made by the inept chemist for my liking. I have my health to consider. That he can not read or write is inexcusable.
I now travel elsewhere.
And he has been reported to head office.
Deplorable.
I'd give a zero star rating if that were possible.

My husband kindly bought eardrops for me yesterday, an off the shelf product. They unfortunately were the wrong type, one for swimmers ear and I needed the opposite type.
We drove down, at least 12klms. to be told you need a receipt. HE declined a receipt as was asked, the same as not even getting a bag for your purchase!!! Then flatly told no we cannot swap because you have no receipt!! We are not young, on a pension and it was literally only hours ago in business hours.
The lady was rather rude about it as well.

We have had a number of bad experiences with poor service at Lakewood pharmacy. Getting a script filled here seems to be a major imposition. Although they are our closest chemist we drive the extra kilometres to avoid the rude staff at this pharmacy.

Went in for cold and flu tablets and noone was around. Approached the counter and asked a man where to find some. He walked to them grabbed some and went to the counter. No questions or discussion. Customer service was disgusting and appalling. Will never go there again and that man should be fired
