Our dog recently had a 3 night stay at Yass kennels. Upon collection she stank of urine and her chewed bed was also urine soaked. Her bed had been chewed by her on her first night. This is not normal behaviour so obviously done through stress. I asked why I wasn't advised that she had chewed her bed and their reply was "Not sure it's our duty of care to ring you on a chewed bed. I would have a lot of customers to contact and let them know that their dogs have chewed their own bedding"
We set off on our travels and our dog became very unwell that night and ended up on a drip in an emergency vet overnight. Fast forward 1 week, we visited 3 vets and $2,500 later she passed a portion of her bed.
Probably not the best place to entrust your beloved pet if they're not concerned about dogs potentially ingesting a foreign body

I was very happy when i picked up my two dogs. Good to see they had a big yard to play around in. Staff were very nice and helpful and dogs were content and seemed happy. Will definitely leave them again when travelling that way.

They looked after our cat for a week over Xmas. The facilities are old but seems to be kept in reasonable condition and functional. The prices were reasonable. Good spot to drop off pets if going to Victoria from Canberra as it is not far from the highway.
