Friendly staff.
knowledgeable doctor who also displayed patience, kindness and care whilst treating to my young child.
Clear communication.
The facility presented Clean, Tidy, and Comfortable.

I had a wait time of 20minutes, wich isn't too bad but with a young child it did seem like a much longer time I had to wait, it was busy.

I am always very pleased with the care and service I receive from the medical and administration staff at Yanchep Medical Centre. Over the past couple of years improvements have been made and now there is a pleasant and cheery atmosphere in the waiting area and staff are very helpful and efficient. My doctor is very thorough and interested which makes for a good doctor/patient relationship. I am happy to recommend Yanchep Medical Centre as a convenient, professional and friendly practice. Many thanks.

I went to Yanchep Medical Centre with my elderly mother (70's), who was in debilitating pain from Plantar fasciitis & knee pain which was preventing her from walking. This wasn’t her first visit to this doctor, but Dr. Swe Tun’s behavior was appalling from the moment we showed her the disability permit form. Instead of providing any care or treatment, she immediately dismisses my mother’s request saying she didn’t know her & also told us that my mom looked fine even though she was struggling to walk. When I requested treatment instead of the permit, Dr. Tun begrudgingly let us into her office, but proceeded to berate my mom for asking for a disability permit for the next 10 minutes. No treatment was offered, she simply said: "Take your mom to a different clinic, I don’t know her" & suggested steroid injections were the only option. We were still charged the $80 consultation fee when she was kicked out of her office. I reported my mother's treatment to the receptionist & all she had to say was that they can't do anything for me & demanded I paid up immediately. My mother left embarrassed & crying, her pain unaddressed & emotionally ravaged by Dr. Tun’s words.ā€ The worst thing is that my mother kept asking me, ā€œAm I not useful in society? Should I be shot like a retired racehorse?ā€ after being so dismissed & disrespected. It's heartbreaking that a doctor would treat an elderly patient in this manner & cause her so much psychological distress. & absolutely zero respect for the elderly & no compassion for her patient’s pain. Overall, I highly would never recommend this clinic & Dr. Swe Tun after this experience, very unprofessional and 0 empathy!

Overall i left feeling disappointed. I visited the doctor to get a script of antibiotics where an infection was developing where I had a skin biopsy performed a week earlier (performed elsewhere). Due to upcoming travel I asked for my other prescriptions to be filled and I was reminded that I only booked a 10 minute consultation and I would have to make a new booking to recieve one of my prescription. I explained that 3 prescriptions take less than 10 minutes to issue. After a frosty discussion I received my 3rd prescription and I paid the $90 and left all within 10 minutes. It seems like doctors these days focus more on $$$ than patients health.

Saw a doctor that stated that mental health issues aren't real. Also trying to maximise appointments needed. Wanted to book a whole new appointment to get a script renewed, normally a 30 second to a minute process. Seems more interested in making as much money as possible at patient expense. I mean, if you're going to be that inefficient, at least bulk bill. No heart to help. Just another clown that wants the impressive title while rejecting the responsibility.

Admin staff are absolutely great! Very professional, friendly and quick to help.

As far as Medical consultations go, I feel that possibly Medicare has put such restrictions on Drs that the onus is on the patient to identify their own needs/ medical requirements extensively before seeing a Doctor. Time is at an expensive premium and in my experience it is good to attend a consultation with a clear idea and list maybe of what you would like from your Doctors consult at your appointment. Drs just do not have much time during Consultations.

5 minutes late to an appt due to my son having a melt down (he’s only 2yrs) has an infection which has been causing him a lot of grief and this was the only appt I could get. The doctor looked at us shook her head and walked away. Because we were 5 mins late 5 freaking minutes receptionist has no customer service. Doctors have no respect to even talk to you. Last time I came here we were left waiting over 45 minutes for an appt they ran late and made us wait and now the doctor couldn’t even spare 5 mins. Disgusting treatment. Will never be returning.

I personally would not be going back to Yanchep Medical Centre. Dr Thomas was concerned only with time 2 out of 4 things I was concerned about was told ā€˜ oh no that’s a 20 minute appointment’ when you book appointment it doesn’t tell you time allocated, when I got to my fourth concern, Doctor Thomas told me I was at nine minutes and two seconds, I paid $90 for nothing. I walked out of there very disappointed and very angry. I am a 50+ lady and have never experienced this sort of behaviour at Doctor before you.
