The wait time is ridiculous. I've been here 3 times as the doctor is good but definitely expect your appointment to be 40 minutes late, sometimes be moved and sometimes booked in on the doctors lunch break.

Outrageously overcharging their patients. I made an appointment to ask for a referral for pathology to check my iron levels as I have chronic low iron. I was in the consultation for a whopping 3 minutes. I was charged $94 with a $53 rebate from Medicare. I then received the phone call for my results. 1 minute phone call! I was then called by reception and charged $80.

I work at the local hospital and we have been in a tier 3 (no beds) for months. I’m sure you’ve seen the ambulance ramping on the news. It’s real. Here is why. People are neglecting their health because of this. We are in a cost of living crisis. $174 for 4 minutes of a GP’s time.

Do not waste your time at this practice. I’ve had longer consults elsewhere and been charged much, much less. I’ve also never been charged to receive results over the phone - I should have waited a week until I could see them online via MyHealth. I’ve learned my lesson.

Yamanto Family Practice are taking advantage of you. Go elsewhere.

The Nurse, Receptionist as well as the Doctor on this medical Clinic is very caring and kind, they are genuine. We are just new in Ipswich and I was amaze how they quickly accommodate my son.

Absolute waste of time and money. Only went there because it was on my way home from work as my usual doctor is out of the way. Thought they were bulk billed. They’re not. Then it turns out they can’t prescribe pain medication on a first appointment. Still were happy to charge me $80 with a $39 rebate. For a 3 minute appointment. Will never be back.
I’ll also add that I spent a good 10 minutes filling out multiple online forms and described exactly which repeat scripts I was needing approximately 6-7 hours prior to the appointment.
If anyone had cared to review my forms they could have given me a call to tell me they wouldn’t be able to prescribe these to me.

Every.Single.Time. I come here I am reminded as to how bad the wait times are despite appointment time and that I should just go elsewhere.
The staff are generally pleasant but the service is terrible. Raceview medical is a lot faster

Dr Yousef Khammar is a gentle caring Doctor that has great medical and mental wellness advice. He also never makes you feel like he hasn't got time to listen and that your just another patient. The receptionists , unfortunately except for 1 off them, treat you with are always pleasant, professional and remember you by name which makes you feel welcome. Thank you Yamanto Family Practice for making treatment of illness a more pleasant experience. Highly recommended. Also they bulk bill for concession card holders and some other conditions.
