I visited Wyoming Medical Centre today for the first time. I saw Dr Karen Griffiths. She was absolutely fantastic. Friendly, kind, very knowledgeable and understanding. I usually avoid going to the Doctors and just see a different one whenever required, but after today I would gladly see her from now on. Also a great location, plenty of parking and the receptionist was also lovely.

Me and my partner had a great experience comming in to the medical centre, was greeted and helped by a beautiful receptionist named Gina before seeing the doctor. Dr Griffith is an amazingly friendly and professional GP I would recommend her to everyone. Thank for the friendliest doctors visit I've experienced in quiet a while!

For what it's worth, my previous review was written on a day I might have had a hell of a day at work and just needed to vent.

It's upsetting what some other reviews have stated in regards to the receptionists, I have never had a problem with any, over the phone or face to face, they've all been amazing. They are doing their best and considering the crowds they have to deal with on the daily, being one of not so many bulk billing centres, I wouldn't expect anyone to be peaches and cream on the daily.

Going back years ago, you'd be stuck in there for 5+ hours, with some deadpan she-wrench who should have retired when the Atari came out at least it isn't such a nightmare.

The doctors there are pretty chill. They do their best with the time they have and yeah, you might be waiting a while but it shows you, you're not just a number and they don't wanna kick you out the door. Some might give off the impression but they're humans, That bit of extra time adds up, see it at a positive. These doctors are people to, they might not mesh with your personality or needs so find another doctor you mesh well with. At least they're not as cash grabby as reliance.

It Changes A lot, but this is good. it was years ago very over crowded. But today in 2024 much has been made very suitable for people. well trained staff and amazing doctors. i am also super happy with the dentist at Wyoming i had treatment last month, very fast and professional. was no a fun time but these things need to be done.

Efficient service, plenty of doctors, bulk billing available. Terms of service regarding patients, is clearly communicated on initial presentation.
The reception staff are knowledgeable and prompt with sending referrals, and the service has a call back system if it’s a busy time.
I have a regular GP who has been thorough, thoughtful, kind and practical. I’ve been a patient here for two years and have really appreciated care I have received.

Don’t recommend this place at all! They see you as cash cows. Needed just two referrals for the same issue each independent on the result of the other but doctor refused to give a referral. He wanted us to make another appointment. If it was different issue you would kinda understand but it’s the same issue. Plus, they make you to get a test for the known and clear case, just to get extra for doing the test.

Oh, the wait is another thing. Waited 3 hours for a prebooked appointment. I guess this one is just due to the lack of docs.

Great Medical Centre. Dr Scott Faulkner is magnificent. He has a very caring manner. He tended to my needs in a timely frame & I am very satisfied with the level of service. Excellent. Very much recommended. Thank you. Good day.
