Awful experience with Workers Doctors, went to them as advised by my then lawyer (obv not with anymore). First getting through to them was terrible, would suggest you use email if need be. I felt it was a waste of 6 months healing that I desperately needed after suicidal thoughts caused by work after being flogged and physically injuring myself. Initial assessment felt like a meat market, once in the practice you are sent from room to room for professionals to analyse you (the only positive was Robbie, a Psych) then once you are diagnosed, medical certificates are given. You then see them on monthly WhatsApp call (which lasts for 5-10 minutes .. however you are given a 3 hour time slot), no care, no attention in getting better, its just a roll over of the current certificate (Dr Lim said for a psych injury capacity was needed in order to get it approved by the insurer - where as my regular GP said no capacity as I was that unwell) . Finally after 6 months of being diagnosed by my regular GP and Rheumatologist with Fybromyalgia I was told by Dr Lim having this would "kill my case" and "its genetic" and "get rid of it".. which is a load of bulldust, several consultants have said it was caused by my work injury. I then left the practice and cut all ties to Workers Drs including my lawyer. Dr Lim had previously referred me to their Psych whom I was getting along with, when I told her, I was no longer dealing with Workers Drs and that I had gone back to my regular GP, she said "well we need a different strategy" again .. my Spidey senses were alerted; this practice appears to be ripping off the system and insurers .. and ultimately I am in a worse place! BEWARE

Reception couldn't answer basic questions on how to submit a records request. Then tried to explain she couldn't advise because she was a call centre, denied providing and contact for the office. Then hung up on me.

Rude degenerate staff

Really disappointing given the stress at a time of need and support.

I was given an email address. And was refused instruction on what the id requirements are for a records request.

I had a very negative experience here unfortunately. Had an appointment with Dr.Lim and ended up waiting 55 minutes. When I asked the reception how much longer, they wouldn’t tell me. When I finally got called in, I got seen to by another doctor for 5 minutes, and then was left in the room unattended for an additional 30 minutes for Dr.Lim. That’s 1 hour 25 minutes wait all up. And on top of that, Dr Lim told me I didn’t have patience and my manner wasn’t warm. I couldn’t believe it. Customer service could definitely be better at this place.

I experienced a significant work related psychological injury and was eventually referred by my profession's union legal team. With no exaggeration, Dr Eric Lim and his team saved my life and ensured the ongoing wellbeing of my young and dependent family. Words cannot do justice to the exemplary nature of their ongoing, considered and timely interventions in supporting me through my Workers Compensation ordeal.

I hold this treating team in high regard and their care and treatment will remain for always in my memory as a fine example of what can be achieved by such a dedicated team of health professionals.

Deb has exceptional customer service. Always answers the call with a happy and friendly manner, I can almost see her smile through the phone!!! It's always a pleasant experience! Deb is patient, a good listener and acts promptly with my enquiry. She is very knowledgeable. Deb makes me feel reassured and got my questions answered within the morning of my call, now that's service!!! I didn't feel rushed or like " a number" as you can be made to feel at other places as they too are busy. Deb takes the time to listen, understand and acts almost immediately 😁, just like answering my phone call. It's so nice to have someone answer your call and in such a chirpy manner! and not be put through to a voice recording.
I am so happy with Deb customer service. I will be recommending Workers Doctors to many in the future as I have had such a great experience.
