I for one can honestly say not one of my favourite towns yet the woolworths is at least visible from the rd ( no missing it and going past ) like your usual woolies a great variety of food / etc and of course the normal friendly staff , best bit is the disabled parking right at the front door otherwise nothing new it's a woolworths like the rest

To be honest the shop is cluttered with either boxes or staff both if your unlucky not to mention how rude the staff are on self serve on more than one occasion Ive been put on show made out I'd stolen when they'd taken my bag from me & after emptying the contents to find nothing they told me to leave & made out I'd started to make some seen really not the best go to macksville more products & better staff 100%

The staff were the friendliest staff of any Woollies I have ever been to. I am visiting on holidays and I asked a couple of staff at different times about where to find things and they went out of the way to not just explain where but to come and show me. One of them checked in with me again later in my shop. Super friendly and happy ?

The carpark is dangerous.
The store is often cluttered with unpacked stock .
I go to Macksville Woolies. A much better experience all round.

I'm not a fan of Woolworths due to the whole Australia Day incident, however, I do have to recognize the fact that the staff at this store were extremely polite, helpful and friendly.

Had stuff on bunch for free, not here wanted to charge $10 at the self service
. Asked staff member to void and instead she reinstated transaction. Said no want it voided off so she slammed her id tag onto the scanner then voided and grumbled about doing her job. Unfriendly staff . Cluttered store and bad parking lot. Won't be back EVER

*Upon learning the woolworths chain was eliminating Norco milk ? I was disgusted?. *Now it's still available 4 months later .
*They also had no day celebrations ? and/or acknowledgement, whilst planning to celebrate Chinese new year.......?‍♂️
*I was told by staff the bread etc is made in Qld , frozen and then trucked down here?
*To see the boss get out a month ago with millions in (severance) pay
*Seriously out of touch with the public here...?‍♂️

I submit 8/10 for the staff, product knowledge and supportive advice to customers. Nambucca staff are tops. Always ? and happy to assist.
ps it's not their fault lol

I raise the question of whether we the consumers, whom by the way, if to choose to would scan, pack n pay ourselves for yet to not even receive a discount considering the person working looks after 8+ self service tills...

Who's getting the discounts here?

Again I support the wonderful staff at this shop. They win ? my customer vote.

Super frustrated to go in this Easter Monday morning and ask the service desk for $5 cash out and she said no you really have to buy something. I said I was food shopping I just wanted to get the money so I wouldn’t forget.
I’ve never had any issue whatsoever asking before and I wouldn’t be at Woolies if I wasn’t buying something. At self checkout the eftpos kept disconnecting and though I had a nicer service lady helping me in the end I couldn’t get the cash out for some reason it wouldn’t process with the cash out option.
If you are changing your requirements you should state this in writing at the service desk. All I wanted to do was take cash out which you offer at your business.
