I usually have a great experience at this store—friendly, helpful staff and smooth service. However, my recent visit was disappointing.

I understand it was a busy period, but the self-service checkout staff member was more focused on collecting baskets than assisting customers. Multiple people, including myself, had their hands raised for help, yet they didn’t notice or check the register lights indicating assistance was needed.

I had forgotten my card in the car and needed to retrieve it. After struggling to get their attention for some time, they finally came over but didn’t ask what the issue was—just reset the machine without listening. When I explained the problem, they dismissed me without any real acknowledgment.

This level of service was unprofessional and frustrating, which is disappointing given the usual high standards at this store. Hopefully, staff attentiveness improves, especially during peak times.

Big supermarket in the centre of Palmerston suburbs. Large aisles to get around the store in comfort. Very big sections for bakery, seafood, small goods and poultry. Also fruit & veggies. Plenty of parking space outside.

I shop every Wednesday and have shopped at Woolworths Bakewell since it opened. This is the third week that Woolworths Bakewell did not have any eggs on the shelf. I realise that there is a shortage, however Woolworths Gateway have had eggs for the last two weeks. Instead of going to both places each time it may be easier to just shop at Gateway, plus they have more product. Bakewell is always running out of items. Their ordering system needs to improve.

A rather nice medium sized grocery store. Had all we wanted, except lemons, no stock but we were assured there would be more tomorrow. As expected. - Darwin prices were more than Adelaide. Clean toilets. Abundant stock, especially vegetables.

I was served by Srikanth at the checkout. I must say he was very nice to deal with, very polite and super happy.
It’s nice to see some great customer service, these are the sort of employees every store should strive to have working for them. Great asset.

We absolutely Love, love, LOVE!!! 💗All the staff at Bakewell Woolworths, everyone is so nice and helpful, always offering Amazing service every time. The store is always clean and nicely set out so everything is easy to find and navigate. We do our weekly grocery shopping here and it is so comfortable and enjoyable, we visit this location every day. The only problem is they often don't always have Paul's iced coffee 2 litres in stock 😒 but otherwise awesome

Changing the layout is annoying and I refuse to change my diet from this. You increased the self check out, but I needed the staff three times. 1. Somehow kiosk tried to charge me for my own bags. 2. Didn't the ai trust what it saw. 3. Couldn't scan the 2kg of salmon. Next time I'm leaving the salmon and we will see how you are being "the fresh food people"

Never enough staff to do anything right, food rotting on the shelves, meat that's always a day off expiring, nothing is ever reduced and absolutely terrible ai camera self-serve that doesn't work. Do something better with your billions in profit woolworths
