A Huuuge THANK YOU to Gary and his amazing team who took on my pregnant Frenchie last minute as I was told by another vet (after attending all leading up appointments) that they would no longer be able to help during certain dates a week out from delivery!! I frantically called around, and a friend recommended Gary and sent me his number as he helped her as well with her very old sick dog when no one else would because it was a public holiday, Gary and his team were the only ones who would take us on as frenchies need elective C sections, Gary is well experienced kind and empathetic they truly care about your animals and I feel at ease going to the vets it’s such a pleasant experience now!
I am so Happy and grateful that I found Gary If I could give all the stars and raving reviews I would! THANK YOU WOOFPURNAY from the bottom of our hearts our family feel so happy our dogs are in the best capable hands 💛🐾🐾🐾

This review is for the doggy swim pool not the veterinary centre as we all know they work extremely hard.
I took my dog several times to swim at the rehab pool here and was paying casual. The guy later told me it’s cheaper to purchase a 10 pass card as it never expires, which I purchased. So I had a break from here and went back to use my ten pass card and the same guy told me you can only use the card if you come weekly . I couldn’t believe it , he was quick to take money but now I can’t use my card

Thank you to Gary and Melinda for taking such good care of my pup today after she fell sick overnight. Gary was very knowledgeable and thorough and treated my pup quickly with her being back to her usual self soon after. Prices were very competitive, especially for a Sunday last minute appointment. My dog usually tries to escape as soon as we get to the vet however today was calm throughout her appointment, so she must have sensed she was in good hands. Thank you again!

Thank you Gary for the care and kindness shown to my baby Marley. I am taken back by the compassion shown by the staff here. They genuinely care for animals and it’s by no means just business as a few other vets I have visited have felt like. Happy I found this place

My cat went missing on Tuesday, June 30th, 2024, though I wasn't aware of this until late that night. The following evening, Wednesday, July 31st, 2024, I saw a post on Next Door about a found, injured cat that matched the description of my beloved Russian Blue. I contacted WoofPurnay at 8 AM the next morning, as they were closed for the night when I first saw the post.
When I inquired about a missing cat, I was informed that all cats are taken to the pound after 24 hours. I mentioned the post and my concern, and my inquiry was escalated to a nurse, who then told me that my cat had been euthanized late Tuesday—within just five hours of being brought in. My cat had a broken pelvis, likely from being hit by a car, but the nurse confirmed that he could have undergone surgery if we had found him sooner. It's devastating to know that, considering I hadn't even realized my cat was missing until after he had already been euthanized.
My cat was not microchipped and had no ID on his collar, and while that was an error on my part, the vet should have realised that it would mean that they should try a little harder, or wait a little longer for the owner to find their pet.
My injured cat was near my house, leaving me with little doubt that he was trying to come home to seek help from us. He would have been better off waiting there where my sister, who walks home from school past there, would have seen him.
It's important to note that veterinarians are not legally obligated to treat injured animals. Knowing this, I’m perplexed as to why WoofPurnay accepted my cat in the first place if they weren't willing to provide a reasonable standard of care. While I understand that the surgery might have been expensive, my cat was a Russian Blue, generally worth around $3,000. I would have been more than willing to pay for the surgery to save him. Fair enough if they did not want to do the surgery, but they should have given us more time to locate him. They didn’t even give us a chance to look for him, although they claimed to have posted on Casey Pet Emergency—yet I can't seem to find any such post. When my brother further enquired about the euthanization, he was informed that they thought he was a stray cat, leading me to believe that is the reason they were so quick to kill him - also probably because they charge to keep your pets overnight. It’s important to note that my cat wears a collar and is well groomed, meaning this makes zero sense.
We were also informed that they “did not have to do an x-ray” but chose to do one because he was so well behaved (strange for a stray cat), meaning they would have euthanised him without even knowing the full extent of his injuries, all of which were internal. Not to mention, after speaking to the nurse a few times, the circumstances around my cat continued changing, leading me to believe they are lying to cover themselves up.
To add insult to injury, after I informed the nurse that I hadn’t even known WoofPurnay existed before this incident, I was told, “Now that you know us, we’re always here if you need.” Incredibly condescending and unprofessional considering they just euthanized my only pet. Talk about a complete lack of empathy. Absolutely disgusting behaviour, and considering these other 1 star reviews, leaves me wondering if any of the practitioners are even qualified to treat animals at all.
For all out there, I would encourage you to never bring your beloved animals to this clinic. Clearly money hungry and under qualified.

Do not bring your cat here they might put them down without ur permission after 3 HOURS of having them even though there was surgery available . This vet clearly doesn’t care for the welfare of animals if money isn’t guaranteed. This vet has lied and changed up the story multiple times of what has happened to my beloved cat.I would rate this 0 stars but unfortunately That’s not an option . Absolutely disgusted and sick with the unprofessional of the staff and vet.
