I was admitted for a day procedure and could not fault the whole experience. From checking in to leaving the recovery, all the staff were so pleasant and helpful. They were clearly very busy, yet I never felt rushed and was made feel very comfortable. Everything ran so smoothly and they were extremely organised. I will not hesitate returning if I am ever in need. Thank you for making an unpleasant procedure a comfortable one.

I had Surgery today and the staff are beautiful, they communicate professionally, with kindness, compassion, openness and are approachable.

My Anaesthetist Dr Kini is amazing and my surgeon Dr Anjum are the best. I always feel safe under these two professionals care!

Dr Kini always makes sure my pain is managed amazingly.

Dr Kini anaesthetic Nurse M was beautiful, smiley and made me feel safe and well cared for.

The nurse in day surgery Ramagne (she explained spelt while champagne with an R) was fantastic. she was extremely thorough. The most thorough nurse I’ve had care for me.

The nurses in recovery Sarah, Mel and nurse starting with K were lovely, caring, approachable and bubbly.

Thank you Everyone! I appreciate what you did for me! I hope if I return I am in your hands again.

This hospital is highly over rated.
It may look pretty and inviting at the beginning but when it comes down to it, it is pretty average.
Admitted for a procedure. Wanted to change the next of kin contact so approaches reception. Was told that the nurse in charge of my interview would take care of that. When I asked the nurse I was told it should be done at reception.
Admitted for a hysteroscopy and was told it was “protocol” to be given a pregnancy test. I know for sure that I am not pregnant. Use a little common sense and discretion.
Was given medication before a procedure with a side effect that was very confronting. When I mentioned this to the nurse her words were, “that’s a common side effect, you should have been warned… you’re the third person to tell me that today… so I will provide feedback”. Totally unacceptable and not good enough.
Admission time was 11 am. Called through at 11.20. I would say it was close to 2.30 when I actually was taken for procedure. I have had procedures at the public hospital and no waiting around.
When the theatre assistant arrived to my cubicle, I was referred to as “her” to which I replied with my name.
Must complement anaesthetist as he was kind and very reassuring. Everyone else very haphazard.
Was asked for my details by no less than four different people. While this is necessary and important, the “protocols” are implemented at the expense of human compassion and a little human spirit. This is a daily job for staff. For patients it can be daunting and traumatic.
And $8 for each 15 minutes of parking is just disgusting and mean.
So yeah. A bit to improve on.

From when I first walked into the hospital I felt like I was in a hotel. Elevators are quick and very clean. All staff are kind and caring. The nurses in the day surgery went over and above to make my son and I to feel comfortable. They took the time to get to know him and have a chat. The waiting room where a waited while my son was having his Endoscopy is really nice overlooking the Escarpment one direction and the beach the other. Absolutely stunning view.
Nurses also offering me sandwiches/coffee or juice. I was kept informed on the progress of my son which made me feel very relaxed? Thankyou for your kindness.

I wish to pay tribute to the cardiac surgeons who saved my husband’s life last night, and to thank the nurses not only for their high level of professionalism, but also the kindness they offered us as human beings experiencing deep levels of distress and fear. You are so very much appreciated.

Nothing, but praise for the nurses and the doctors on level five at Ramsay, Private Hospital Wollongong.
I had a procedure done there yesterday afternoon. The nurses and the doctors are amazing. Very kind and considerate and gentle and caring and warm.
The attention to detail was outstanding. The hospital Ward was immaculate, clean, tidy and well maintained.
The Care was second to none, and the after care was gold standard in recovery.
The double checking and triple checking of your personal details as you move from one section to theatre prep was insuring that everything was in order for my safety and for the nurses and doctors.
I cannot speak highly enough of the treatment and the care that I got yesterday.
I’ve come home now, feeling that I’ve been looked after at the highest level and have got the treatment that I required .
Thank you again for everyone that looked after me yesterday. I really appreciate everything that you did for me.
Regards
Dion

It is a week since my ankle replacement and repositioning of my left foot. I wanted to thank all the Nurses and Staff for the best result possible. The hospital experience was so positive that I will request to have any further surgeries here.
The Nurses were professional, caring and positive. Also, everytime I had food or my room cleaned the staff were upbeat and friendly and took pride in their work. I have had 7 operations to my left foot and this is the first time I have been in this hospital, I came because my surgeon operated here, I live in Sydney. I have been pleasantly surprised at how well I have coped so far. It has been exemplary. And I just wanted to thank all the staff.
