The most frustrating appointment check-in I ever had. I have driven an hour to get to my appointment in time just to be turned away because my appointment had been cancelled. I had never been notified of this, despite the reception's insistence that they had. No they did not, I had only been called ONCE and it was to discuss the possible move of my appointment from 5:20pm to 3:30pm, not a full cancellation. And the reason for this cancellation? The doctor is going on a holiday. A sudden holiday? I was never told this in my initial appointment from him, in fact it had only been two weeks since. Not only that, but the man himself, Dr Peter Nguyen stepped out of his office, saw me waiting there, MADE eye-contact, and still had the audacity to turn me away and take in a walk-in patient. Cancelling a booked appointment to prioritise a walk-in and this holiday is questionable practice, but maybe that's just me.

Here’s an idea. You want to charge me if I’m late but you turn up for appointment after already calling in today to see if I could have another appointment, to be told doctor is running over an hour late. So if I turn up late I have no appointment and charged for no consultation but your doctors are late that’s fine still charged full price and can’t even be notified prior to turning up that he was running that far behind. Seems a bit one sided. But that’s the world today rich get richer poor get poorer because you can’t implement such stupid expectations on patients but don’t need to meet expectations yourself. This mind you after my doctor left due to fact you wouldn’t give him a full time allocation. Obviously a great management decision when the doctors you do have can’t keep on time. Previous doctor was never late. Here’s an idea for management, doctors can’t keep to a 10 min appointment time then
stop being so greedy and squeezing so many people in and change appointment times to longer time brackets, pretty simple really. What about if I had something else to do or my time doesn’t matter? After reading responses to previous feedback I can’t see management doing anything about it because when you look you have also picked which ones you will respond to, mostly only the positive ones. So looks like management only want positive feedback and won’t deal with negative feedback. No wonder your overall rating keeps going down. Management should act on all feedback.

I've been coming here for over 20 years and over those years Ive seen the front desk staff get more useless by the day. When you book an appointment and the Doctor is late the reception should at least have the respect to tell u that the Doctor is running late.

Waiting extra people wouldn't mind if they were told, but since it's priva

I went to wollogong medical center today as i had an appointment with Dr Brigita Dominis. I went in to get my dry cough checked along with muscle pain in the chest area but after going into her office and telling her my symptoms without any tests or anything she diagnosed me with a hole in my heart or even an open valve which apparently according to her has been undiagnosed by birth. Then after that she proceeded to diagnose me with having blood clots in my lungs and again WITHOUT ANY TESTING, because I just took a long 20hrs flight. She told me that i had to get an ecg , chest scan, blood tests all that cause she thinks i have a heart disease. Minding im 29 never taken any medicines in my life, never had any heart issues. She made me cry today telling me as if i was going to die. And last but not least on my way out she tells me im ANEMIC. Worst doctor ever only thinks about the money makes you do everything regardless the patient having medicare or not. Never going back to her. spent my day off in the clinic and then in the hospital, payed $700 just to clearout the assumptions she made!

It was my first time in this practice and was seen by Dr. Maggie. Her care and clinical approach were above and beyond. She’s one of the kindest GP I’ve ever met. She listened to my concerns attentively and patiently and provided great options and I felt really involved. It’s unfortunate that she had left the practice, I didn’t even see her again but she was kind enough to ring me with the lab results despite of cancelling my second appointment with her as it was her last day in the practice. It’s been a pleasure meeting her and I wish her all the very best. I just hope this will reach her.
I also had a good experience with the receptionist.
Thank you

This practise are not very professional especially when I have been going here for years. As due to me loosing my job and having a health care card they don't want to know me I go in and they say there are not doctors available under medicare and treat me like I am second class although I have been going there for year. They have no compassion and been to the doctor for my problem several times and he has done nothing to try and fix it he just says see how it goes after you use the cream I have given you then when I go back to see him about it I am told he doesn't bulk bill as a result I have had to change doctors and locations. When I asked for my medical history I was told that would be a charge for me to obtain as well. So I am unable to do obtain due to this. Its sad that no one cares because you cannot pay there fees and so just pushed out after all I have helped to pay there wages for years. If I could give them a zero I would

I have been a patient of Dr Kalsi for last 10 years and can’t speak highly enough about his expertise and professionalism. He has always shown me compassion, care and empathy while diagnosing a range of issues I have experienced. He had also referred me to specialist who have changed my life with their knowledge and diagnosis.
