Had a procedure done here that I’ve had done at a civilian clinic before. No comparison. WBK VA treated me with the utmost respect before, during and after. They even fed me before sending me home. Spent a week here another time and was treated the same way. The guy that came to clean my room was even courteous too and asked if there was anything he could do before he left. The ONLY issue I have is that imaging never answers the phone. A minor inconvenience considering everything else.

Recently moved to the area. BEWARE OF THE WOMENS CLINIC!! Was wrongfully misdiagnosed for STI. Got retested without taking meds they tried to force me to take before retesting, and the test came back negative. This situation brought unnecessary stress into my relationship. When I look back in my VA file the test that once said positive now says negative which is strange because Why would I get tested again for the same thing 2 weeks later if it was negative in the first place? Looks like their trying to cover up their mistake. Morale of the story just go get outside health coverage, they VA medical they are offering us Vets is a JOKE.

It’s one of my preferred VA locations. It’s clean and organized, unfortunately the VA in Miami can be a bit hectic but this one is great.

I haven’t had the opportunity to actually go here but I have had the disgusting experience of dealing with Yahaira Almedina-Acevedo from the VR&E. She is extremely rude and incompetent. She fails to attend a zoom call she set up. She fails to respond to communication that is sent to her 2 weeks in advance. This is a person that shouldn’t have the privilege to helping veterans. She is the reason veterans hate going to the VA. She makes excuses to why she cannot respond to messages. She has a case load of 160. But at the rate she replies she has no cases because she’s has refused to help me and or respond back with any helpful information or put me in contact with anyone that wants to help me.
I hope the VA does something to remove this stain on the VA.

The last time I was there they made me cross the interstate and walk two blocks to go get a COVID test before I was let into the facility. They dont even believe in the efficacy of the vaccine.

UPDATE I would like to add the clinic policies are not a reflection of the people that work there. There are good people there. They have good screening for people with mental health issues. They do follow policies but some of the residents lack the knowledge of policies to work there. They know all the policies on what they can’t do but lack the knowledge of policies of how they can help you. I would say overall I might of been a bit rough with my original review but I have gone to other VA facilities and it can get a lot worse. The facility is clean and they have the latest technology and equipment when it comes to diagnosis. The pharmacy is quick to refill meds and answer any concerns you might have. There is a small cafeteria that serves a decent menu and the cost is average. Veterans be careful! The non-profits who offer services can be questionable at best. There is no oversight on them and I feel fraud is an understatement for some of them. They like to keep veterans in the local area and I still can not believe they don’t offer transitional housing in Broward. The Feds should really take a look into that. The case management department will Kill you! I have a theory they are the drivers of suicide in veterans. I think a website with information would do a better job. The Feds know what’s going on and they are trying to fix the issues we undergo. Unfortunately some Department Chiefs choose which policies they adopt and which ones they don’t. The policies are there to take care of us but decrease utilization is priority for the leadership. Overall I would give them three stars and hope the government continues drain the swamp!

Dr. Gozales Bravo Clinic, Admin Check IN, Bravo Clinic Admins all incredibly helpful and hard working....be patient and show these people respect. Parking can be challenging- don't complain to them- we should be so lucky to have all of these people showing up to help us!! Also there 2/20/24 had walk in appointment- regret not getting the Doctor's name and other person's name- very helpful, professional and polite in Bravo Clinic.
