My daughter Erin waited for ages to get seen for an infected wound. She just wanted a tetanus shot if needed. While I understand they are busy and fully booked, to have to wait and then miss your call and wait longer really is upsetting The desk claim they called her but given their accents and soft voices and the noise of some rowdy kids in the waiting area, Erin did not hear her name called. My regular GP works there and yet if I need to see a doctor right away I will go somewhere else as the booking system is not to be relied upon. Usually you go in an hour after your allotted time. Doesn't matter how good the medical care is (and my GP is very good) if the administration lets the patient down.

What a great medical centre. I was very sick, we're full-time traveller's just retired. We were staying in Emu Plains, I had rung upteen medical centres only to be turned away from centres booked out to not taking in new patients. Thought we'd go out of town a few klms more and my husband rang the Whalan Medical Centre and managed to book me in- in the morning. I saw a lovely Dr. John who was very thorough, done some tests where I received the results the next day & put me on antibiotics. This practice also bulk bills even to new patients. A week later, received a phone call from Dr. John to see how I'm feeling. Not many Dr's do this at all. So, thank you 😊

I can't believe how hard it is to try to see a doctor these days. We had the same problem in Ballina for my husband as he just needed stitches taken out. Not one medical centre would take in new patients...

The doctor i have met today was shockingly unprofessional and clearly unprepared to provide proper care. Their attitude, facial expressions, body language, and tone of voice were completely inappropriate and, frankly, demeaning. Throughout the consultation, they appeared to look down on the patient — pouting, picking at their nails, sighing in frustration, and showing not even the slightest sign of courtesy or empathy. If they were not in the right state of mind to work, they should have stepped aside and allowed a more competent doctor to take over.

Despite having an appointment scheduled for 9:00 AM, the doctor arrived nearly 20 minutes late, only to deliver service that was not just poor, but downright unacceptable.

I’ve been to this clinic several times and had wonderful experiences with other doctors, which makes this incident all the more disappointing.

Working in a modest facility is never an excuse to treat patients with arrogance or disdain. Professionalism and basic human decency are expected, no matter where you work or who you are serving.

Dr. Kazi Anisur Rahman is a great doctor! Very helpful. The Front desk very professional and well maintained premises neat and clean! All together they have a great team ! Even the receptionists are also kind and give attention to details. Can't praise enough! As a part of Whalan Community we feel lucky to have such a nice and modern Medical Care within our proximity ! I have only visited 3 Doctor's since arriving here from Regent's Park n all 3 Doctor's go above n beyond for their PT's I could not trust a random Doctor yet I put my trust into Doctor Farabi hence moving here n not once let down either by Doctor's Colleges Thankyou many Blessings Attached
