Note: This is a belated review of an experience that occurred more than 2 years ago.

This review reflects my personal opinion, considering that I am not a doctor. Therefore, I must be cautious in my assessment, mindful of the potential impact on other parents' decisions when receiving advice from their doctor(s).

Our visit to Westmead specialists was not by choice but upon referral from Westmead Public/Children's Hospital. Despite arriving on time for our pre-booked appointment(s), we waited for up to an hour to see the doctor. After the brief session, we were even asked if we could use another room to dress up my son. It was disappointing that after waiting for an extended period, the doctor couldn't spare a couple of minutes for us to attend to our son.

The subsequent appointment was a follow-up after the ultrasound requested in the first session. In my opinion (which may be subjective), the request for the ultrasound seemed overly conservative and possibly unnecessary. I speculate if this decision might have been influenced by a confirmation bias due to a prevalence of similar cases.

To make the most of these sessions, it's essential to conduct your research and stay informed. Don't hesitate to ask questions if anything seems unclear or uncertain.

I was referred to Dr Jennifer Bradford in November last year. I called and spoke with her receptionist (in her rooms) who would have to be one of the rudest people I have encountered! she lost my very confidential referral.. told me she couldn’t find it!!! didn’t know where it was!! I was told that I would have to wait until June (even thought it was for an urgent assessment) this year for an appointment. I have just realised now in July, that I was never reminded of my appointment. Have never been contacted. There was no follow up whatsoever. I just hope other people who were waiting for an appointment and have subsequently missed it have not had a serious complication because of the inept, rude receptionist who should not be in this job!

Stephanie was an angel! She helped organised my dads appointment which was accidentally booked for the wrong date. Made our lives so easy and convenient! She really does look after her patients and knows how to deal with customer service 😀😀

Horrible place. My 4 months old had an EEG there. The “doctor” who did the test was extremely rude. She didn’t even talk to us or tried to calm the baby. She was rough and just wanted to finish the test. She acted as she had never had contact with a baby before. Also the receptionist was rude and not helpful. The test was order by my daughter’s doctor with urgency. I’ve been waiting for the results for over 3 days. When I called the clinic the receptionist said that they don’t know when the report will be reviewed and sent to my doctor.
If you have a choice look for another place to take to child.

The neurology department is still in the stone ages I have gotten more help with my epilepsy condition just googling my symptoms then all the neurologist have helped me in 12 years that bad. The 2 neurologists I e had in this hospital only stayed in the room for 5 minutes then walked out saying see you in 6 months. I put up there names soon they should be ashamed of them selfs.
