We arrived after 8pm last night the registration process was easy and the wait time was reasonable. My friend recommended this place.
My child (5 years old) was crying so loud in a lot of pain. The male nurse was friendly and checked her throughly and even made her laugh. However the male doctor (who I will not name) talked to her but did not check her or ask her to do anything (such as move or kick or walk ). Within 1 minute of seeing the doctor, he said “take her home give her Panadol every 3 hours and by morning she should be better, if not wait 2 days and she would be better”.
My intuition knew something was very serious because my child was crying so loud and would not stand nor walk on the right leg.
We did not go home but went to Westmead Children Emergency. Within 4 hours my child was seen and X-ray and they put a cast on her. My child fractured her right knee and is in a cast for 1-2 weeks and we will go from there to what happens next. The doctors and nurse there were amazing as always.
Sadly, would not recommend this place to anyone.
It might be just a bad night with a non empathetic doctor who did not show much interest but sad for the rest of the team who were kind.

Got my ear piercing ripped at 10pm and went to Westmead ED and waited 5 hours and was recommended to come to urgent care in the morning. Having come here the morning after I was seen and treated within 2 hours. Staff were highly professional and the service was exceptional. Hoping that NSW Health continues expanding these urgent care clinic services across the state and increasing opening hours to a 24/7 alternative to the ED.

I'd share my experience for my actual visit but the previous reviews are enough to say how great this initiative is.
We need more of those around Australia. This is such a great facility to not only treat those things that do not require an emergency room visit but also lower the pressure on our Hospitals.
There is no need to comment on the waiting times - it's one nurse who is ED trained with years of experience and one Dr. Everyone should understand that they would both have years of experience to triage you correctly and that means some people may need to get treated first.
I'm glad that this place is being funded. Let's hope that the health literacy of the community gets addressed to make sure places like this continue to be funded and increase in size.

My wife received excellent care at the clinic. The process of receiving treatment was streamlined and the medical staff were knowledgeable, skilful and very friendly. The clinic was the best way to deal with the urgent care she required, obviating the need the attend a hospital emergency department. A great initiative!

I recently visited Westmead Urgent Care with my dad and was very impressed by the quality of care provided. The staff was warm, attentive, and efficient, creating a positive atmosphere in what could have been a stressful situation. They made us feel at ease from the moment we walked in. The nurses were highly professional, supportive, and showed great compassion throughout the visit. I’m truly grateful for the excellent care we received and wouldn’t hesitate to return if we ever need urgent medical assistance in the future.

Dr Yasmeen went above and beyond to help me with my situation she gave me a lot of reassurance and apologised for the unwelcoming triage nurse - the triage nurse Shontelle was rude and had no sympathy towards my situation I was crying and eventually left. I was called back by Dr Yasmeen who saw me straight away and took the time and care to listen and understand. If you’re working in the health system and don’t want to be at work don’t come in to work, don’t direct your frustrations on to the patients. We too have other things to do and places to be. I give Dr Yasmeen 5 stars. This has not been my first time to urgent care and unfortunately this was my first bad experience here.

I had such an amazing experience at Westmead Medicare Urgent Care just over a week ago. Gordon who triaged me and was with me the whole time when I had my toe nail removed, was an absolute gem of a man. He tried his absolute best to keep me calm and he really made the whole experience enjoyable despite losing a toe nail. Nathan, who completed the procedure was very thorough with the information that he was providing me. He was very clear with what my options were and was understanding and respectful with my final decision. He got the job done perfectly and am so grateful that I was referred to this clinic. And although most people don’t like visiting clinics/hospitals for emergencies, I would 100% be visiting this clinic if we ever experienced an emergency.
Thank you to the team at Urgent Care, without the convenience of this clinic I don’t know what I would have done.

Be expecting to wait 2 hours.
Absolutely horrendous state for this clinic, visited today and there was blood on the floor and flies everywhere. This place should be inspected and the reception staff should be trained better to be speaking in a respectful manner to patients. The doctor was studying medicine and how to treat the injury as the patient was there, and called another doctor for suggestions too. Visiting this clinic was an absolute joke and out of a movie… this place needs to be inspected for sure
