I can not speak highly enough of the beautiful Nhill hospital. I was brought in on Saturday morning the 18th of May 2024, in respiratory distress. From the amazing Dr and ED nurses that were on that day, I can't thank you enough for your exceptional care.
When I was admitted, the level of professional care I received was outstanding. Michelle, Gil, Jenny and names I have forgotten, thank you so much for absolutely everything, you all are truly brilliant gorgeous people. Also a big thank you to the lovely young lady who's name starts with S, that brought my meals and coffee. Follow your dreams sweetheart.
This hospital is definitely the best hospital I have been in. I honestly thought it was private, not public. It is stunning in every way. We were on holiday at Big Desert a 7 hour drive from home when this happened. To all that work and mange Nhill hospital keep up the amazing work. It is people like you that make a difference in this world.

To Michelle, you definitely chose the right profession. Never met a more competent caring person.
I was diagnosed with some sort of virus in my lungs.

I recently had a knee replacement done at the hospital in Nhill and we, my husband and I, were absolutely amazed at the professionalism shown. Everyone was so helpful, kind and encouraging. Nothing was too much trouble and you were treated with care and consideration. On another note the food was great as were the people serving it. Also, unexpectedly, had a follow up phone call which I found very surprising and it gave me a chance to say how impressed I was .

If you have young children that need to be seen urgently, do yourself a favour and avoid this hospital and go straight to Horsham. My daughter got taken up as advised by Nurse On Call and was turned away by emergency in Nhill. Reasoning was no doctors available until tomorrow and it’s too hard for a Telehealth doctor to do anything. No one even bothered to take a look at my daughter. Absolutely appalling I have no words. What is the point in having an Emergency Room if people seeking help just get turned away. Unfortunately this isn’t the first run in with this hospital I’ve had regarding my children and the lack of care that is had towards them. Do better.

My mother passed away in the Nhill Hospital on 3/9/2015 after a long illness. The care she received and compassion shown to the family by all staff was sensational. A special thank you to the Director of Nursing who went out of her way to assist us in any way she could. Nhill and district people are very fortunate to have such a wonderful facility on their doorstep.
