My brother went here as a last resort to get help for a medical issue, and Doctor Chen decided to laugh in my brothers face, dismissing his claims and concerns. He told my brother to go see his own regular doctor, refused to look at pictures of his issues, and then gave him a diagnosis without checking anything and just prescribed him whatever medication. My brother has been putting up with so much pain and goes to get help, and this Doctor does that? Yeah, go get a new profession buddy, or maybe go take a course on ✨️how to be a better doctor✨️ , your arrogance in thinking you know everything based on looks is putrid. Everyone is better off going on chatgpt and asking for help because at least the AI isn't an asshole and will provide help

Went to a new GP since my usual one is fully booked.

Dr Justine Hester, feels like she's too busy to listen to what you have to say.

Felt like I was rushed out of the consultation room with a "I don't have time for this, just get swabbed, if it's negative then you're not contagious".

Person doing the swab test at the back had the "I'm using my phone, why'd you have to bother me attitude."

Results just came out, turns out the test wasn't even for what I went to see the doctor for...

I have come here for several years and wish to sincerely thank the staff that has given me very good medical care over the years for a range of problems.

I have always been treated in a professional manner by the doctors here along with the nurse out the back who is very skilled.

There used to be a terrible receptionist that worked here but they have since left. 💯🤌👍

My recent experience at the West Ryde Marketplace Medical Centre was extremely disappointing. The receptionists were extremely rude and their lack of basic courtesy and dismissive attitude made the entire visit extremely unpleasant from the start.

The waiting time was outrageously long, and when I inquired about the delay, the response was dismissive and condescending. I waited 2 and a half hours just to be told that the doctor was overbooked when I made a phone call 4 hours in advance to book an appointment. There was a complete lack of communication regarding delays or scheduling issues. The staff appeared unorganised and indifferent to the concerns of the patients

When I finally saw the doctor, the consultation felt rushed and impersonal. I didn't feel like my concerns were taken seriously.

Overall, the service at this medical centre was ridiculously bad. From the rude reception to the snobbish doctors, my visit was a complete disappointment.

I would strongly advise others to seek medical care elsewhere to avoid such a negative experience.
This is one of the worst medical centres with the worst doctors in the area. If I could give negative stars I for sure would do that within a heartbeat. Don't know why this place is still running.

Efficient and helpful reception staff members. They might seem a bit rude, but they are just efficient in managing all patients. I booked my appointment online, so I got to see my doctor in 15 minutes. Dr. Majid here is a well-experienced and understanding GP. And the best part, unlike other medical centers, is that West Ryde Marketplace Medical Center does not charge any gap fee. Most of the nearby ones charge extra for similarly experienced GPs.

My family have been coming here for many years. I too began seeing one of the doctors and have found; exceptional service and attention to health is of upmost importance. I won’t name the doctor as I’m sure they would prefer the privacy, however I will say that my health has improved over time.
