I had to call today to make an appointment with dr Hamad the receptionist was very rude speaking with attitude and aggressive tune. I do understand the high pressure that they are facing but if a patient didnt get what she is saying that does not mean that the patient is damn she is supposed to repeat and not makes the patient feel uncomfortable. I know dr Hamad and his high professionalism but i do really recommend to train the receptionist how to talk to patient.

Dr Hamad is very good but the receptionist is very rude, she doesn't have any customer service skills. Is acting like she's having a tantrum speaking to patients. Yelling and raising her voice.. don't forget people don't choose to come to the drs. They come because they have to. Being in healthcare you need to be compassionate and if you can't this job isn't for you esp for front of house. You represent the business..we continue to come because the Dr Hamad is very compassionate and a great dr. But I think it's time you think about the older receptionist and her implications on your business. The other receptionist is very lovely but the older lady doesny make it feel like she wants to be here.

1. The receptionist who took my call on 3 August was rude and unhelpful. I was misguided thinking there were two surgeries one at Austral and West Hoxton. She could not decipher that I was at the right practice. Instead of advising me there was one practice, she allowed me to hang up and call the practice again on the same phone number I called the first time.

I called to book an appointment with the podiatrist however the receptionist wanted to book me with a physiologist, she was told 3 times it was podiatry.

Eventually she got the message and booked my appointment.

2.The toilet in the medical centre is dirty and has not been cleaned recently. The basin has a dirt build up and floor has clumps of dust.

Receptionist is extremely rude! The one assigned today 31 July 2023 3pm deserves bullying case to be filed in human rights commission. Here’s the transcript of conversation:

Me - good afternoon, may I pls follow up my request med certificate?

Receptionist - we dont do it by phone, you need to book appointment and come here. Bye

Me - no, I already saw doctor on 25-July and requested me to email her details then she will email back the letter

Receptionist - (yelling) You didnt tell me!!! What are the details?

Me - as requested by doctor I emailed the details to her on 25-July. My name is and DOB are these, please check my email as requested by doctor

Receptionist - I dont check email, we are 6 people here in front desk. You’re not helping me to help you !!!

Phone dropped and I was completely puzzled - if there 6 people in reception why cant someone check email as directed by doctor? How did she help me in anyway? She’s extremely bully

I deliberately detailed this feedback because she’s the only rude one. Other receptionist are polite

Receptionist lady at West Hoxton Medical Centre with the nude scarf was not professional at her job. Speaking to people on the phone saying “inshalla” and talking on the phone in Arabic. Talking on her personal phone about matters irrelevant to her job and giving the clients attitude

The Doctors are Awesome. But one of the receptionist is Rude, and a straight up liar, to your face. She definitely doesn't have the personality or personal skills for the job she has. If the Doctors weren't as good as they are, the Receptionist would be the reason we never returned.

The doctors are great but I cant say the same for one receptionist who is just not a very nice person unfortunately. She never smiles and she is very defensive. Although she has very poor people skills, I will continue to go to see my doctor , Dr Jamal as she is awesome. Just a warning for people who want to go these practice otherwise its great place.

Never have I ever had such a negative experience at a medical centre before. Receptionists have the worst customer service. Very rude and unhelpful. Come here if you don’t mind being treated with no empathy. Would give them zero stars if that was possible.
