Dr Matthew Duncan is incredible. He took the time to call me the morning of my procedure and help calm my severe anxieties. On the day he was brilliant with helping me manage my anxiety and listened to help me find the best solution. I had the best possible care for my procedure and I cannot possibly highly recommend him enough. Thank you So much Dr Duncan.

I had a terrible experience with Dr Sarah Lindsay. I found her overbearing, lacking empathy, and I found her judgmental. She said that she does not diagonise medical conditions. I found that she focused more on my psychosocial history, rather than my agonising and rapidly deteoriating physical symptoms. The only option she offered was her 6-12 week clinic within the hospital, that includes Occupational Therapy/Pysiotherapy and Psychology etc. I left there feeling very disappointed and hopeless. My google name is my married name not my name on my Medicare card.

I had Dr Torben Wentrup as my anaesthesiologist for my breast augmentation yesterday and he was absolutely incredible. Amazing personality, fantastic bedside manner, ran me through everything and answered all my questions. I didn't feel rushed, or dismissed and was given amazing attention. I'm so grateful he told me he uses the brain monitoring equipment because that put me right at ease about the fear of waking up during surgery. He was incredible start to finish and I cannot fault him! And, I didn't wake up during surgery haha. Thank you so much Dr Torben!

Dr Chris Carter was my anaesthetist for the removal of skin cancers on my scalp and leg. Apart from sending detailed information about what to expect, he also contacted me at home prior to the surgery to ask follow-up questions and to see if I had any. He was a warm, reassuring presence from the beginning. I can have some side effects from anaesthetic, but he made sure that I had none. Between his interpersonal and professional skills, he's the all-round best anaesthetist I've ever had.

This is a review related to my experience with Dr Sue Clark.
I had a surgery at Brisbane Private Hospital on 29 Sept and Dr. Clark met me before the procedure and explained the type of sedation she will be using, why she will be using it and what to expect during and after the surgery. She also asked specific questions related to my health and communicated with me directly by email after the surgery to update me on possible health conditions i might be having in order for me to seek additional information from my GP.
I was billed for the anaesthetic part of the procedure and paid the full amount two days before the operation; after the operation, i was told that my anaesthetic account came less than what i paid (it seems they required less effort/drugs than anticipated) and was refunded the difference.
I really appreciated the care, honestly and professionalism, i felt and knew that i was in good hands.

Dr Matthew Duncan was brilliant. I am a big sook when it comes to hospitals, and have a fear of needles bordering on a phobia. Matt took the time to speak with me, was present, mindful, and confident, and suggested a great option for 'putting me to sleep' before the needle insertion, which I was very thankful for. Funnily enough, the attentiveness of Dr Duncan and the confidence he inspired, left me feeling like I would have been okay with him administering the needle anyway. Brilliant, thorough, and caring service for an anxious patient! Thank you, Matt 🙂
