As I've been going to wendouree medical clinic for years. I could not fault them. The drs are fantastic and the receptionists are amazing. Although it is Vicky I would love to give my greatest gratitude too. She always brings such an infectious smile and will help you. With no questions asked. She goes over the top with making all clients feel welcome and is has great hospitality. If it wasn't for Vicky. The clinic wouldn't have such a great 'family welcome' attitude. Thank you Vicky for all that you do. It's beautiful souls like her. That make the world go around.

I have a chronic health condition and have found this surgery to be excellent. Whenever I call, I have been attended to professionally. Whether it's blood tests or phone appointments, the receptionists have always been helpful. Dr Neville listens and is attentive to my medical needs. A great practice.

First went to this practice to see a doctor who has unfortunately moved from this practice now but always had a good experience seeing two other doctors who practice here. Always been bulk billed so any extra waiting times can be understandable, although this is rare. I have never been rushed or pushed during my consultations and are very considerate and understanding. Always followed up with by doctors and been above and beyond, there is very little to nothing to complain about! Reception staff are friendly and have been very helpful whenever I have had multiple enquiries. great practice 🙂

Deplorable service from Dr Neville. Waited 45 mins for my appointment. Was in his room 5 mins and he said “I’m going to have to ask you to leave now, I’m running late”... I mentioned the patient before me was in there for 30 mins. His reply “He only booked 10mins, what can I do?” as he stood to open the door.
Would never recommend. Dr Natalie was fantastic, but she has moved on, hence the reason I went there in the first place.

One star isn't low enough.
When I first moved to Victoria in 2018 this was my closest doctor so I went to find myself a professional to diagnose my chronic pelvic pain.

Dr Mendes made an assumption about me from the start and considered my pain "all in my head" and I went to the professional she asked me to whose reported stated that I was clearly just sad and dealing with pain is the cause for my sadness, not the other way around.
Even with this report she told me she would not treat me physically because she didn't believe my pain was physical.

Two years later, after various tests and better doctors, I've been diagnosed with painful bladder syndrome, after a biopsy my bladder showed inflammation and a history of scarring and I'm now getting the help I need.

I don't know if it was my gender, my appearance or her own personal bias in life but if I'd stayed with Dr Mendes I might never had found out about my condition and be going through life thinking my pain isn't real as she tried to suggest it wasn't.

If you want to be treated like crud this is the doctor for you.
I still hold so much resentment for the way I was treated and the fact that if I'd trusted her I may never have known my problem was there and I was right about MY body.

Side note: The admin ladies were always nice though so no faults with them.

Dr Neville is the best doctor I have been to since I moved to Ballarat 8 years ago. Actually listens to you (unlike some doctors) and cares enough to follow through. Worth the trip from the other side of Ballarat to see him. Personally, I have always found the receptionist to be helpful.

My 22 year old daughter was turned away after attending the practice to have a cut on her arm attended to. She was told to go to emergency - no question about whether or not she had access to transport, was willing to go to emergency, or was strong enough to be turned away and have to go elsewhere.

DISGUSTING! My daughter didn't have access to transport to drive herself to the hospital, nor was she in a strong enough mental state to attend emergency. I'm in a different state of Australia, so we decided she should go to the pharmacy to have it looked at. The pharmacist dressed the wound for her - FREE OF CHARGE.

My daughter rang this Dr's surgery afterwards to complain and was told 'Because you had no appointment, we were unable to see you". This was not told to her at the time, no explanation was given.

Shoddy! Disgusting. We should be caring for people, not turning them away. She won't be going back.
