I cannot believe how this place has not been advertised or recommended from before by GP's, Doctor's, other clinics. With the amount of mental health issues arising, this counselling centre should be given more accreditation. I came across this place while searching online when trying to look for a new psychologist. This place so far has been a life saver - literally.
They have a website, if you want a consultation you fill out an online form with the relevant information that is required and make a booking. There are quite a lot of choices of psychologists each specialising in their own way. The clinic/center firstly gives a very cosy and homely atmosphere. There is a quite a spacious sitting area where one can help themselves to tea or coffee. The receptionists are wonderful and very friendly. As soon as you enter, you feel safe. The ambience there is of feeling safe and calm. The cleanliness of the whole clinic is spot on - including very clean toilets. There are many rooms inside a section of the building - counselling rooms basically. The psychologist comes out to greet you each time you go, and makes you feel at ease. The rooms are cosy, you feel relaxed and safe. They are here to hear you, and guide you on how you can make yourself better. You don't feel rushed, you feel heard. They also offer evening appointments on certain days if you can't make it during the day. They send you reminders for when your next appointment is so that you don't forget.
This place has been great for me and I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who's on the lookout for a new psychologist, a place nearby (Glen Waverley), parking availability and most importantly to get yourself mentally well.
