If you have an issue that needs resolving, the manager and reception were not good. The reception said the manager couldn’t of have been rude to me and also didn’t seek solutions, however they were polite to me in their tone ect (which i appreciate). The manager was demeaning, rude, not solution focused and did not seek to support the customer at all. I was calm and respectful, however I was spoken over and spoken too extremely rudely and in a hostile way by the manager at points. The manager does not show any understanding of remaining neutral or conflict resolution.
Additionally, the doctor has been inflexible and not helpful during this issue, despite solutions being possible.
This place is fine until you have any miscommunication or issue (from their side), they will not listen to your side or seek a solution. I’ve also been told multiple times there isn’t anyone outside of the manager that I can speak too. Do not go here, it is not worth the risk.
Extremely disappointing.

Eveytime I have been there I found people at reception very courteous. Waiting time has always been reasonable. A special note about Dr Richard Sacks who has been my GP for quite a few years; he is one of the best and most helpful doctors I have come across not only in this country but other places I lived in the past. I personally would like to thank him for his care of me over the years

If you have private health insurance and have multiple centres in mind to go, I recommend avoiding this dental center. I encountered inexperienced staff and poor customer service. The receptionist charged my private card but then claimed it didn't work and asked me to pay in full. Later, I received an email from Qantas stating that the card had been used at EFTPOS and they refused my claim.

After not receiving adequate assistance over the phone, I visited the center in person. They promised to resolve the issue and refund my money. A month later, they called to confirm I would receive a refund. However, as of now, it's been two months and I still haven't received it. I plan to raise this issue with Fair Trading, but I wanted to share my experience to warn others not to fall into same trap.

Excellent facilities and very professional level of care. Dr Sacks is an incredibly kind and knowledgeable doctor with a wonderful calming manner. He’s also available to see early in the morning or later in the evening which makes it easier to get an appointment at a time that suits. With imaging, pathology, and more all in one place, Warringah Medical and Dental Centre is extremely handy for all medical matters.

I see Dr Sacks at Warringah Medical & Dental and he is a fantastic GP. I moved to the northern beaches a number of years ago but could never find a personable, reliable and caring Dr, but Dr Sacks is just that. He listens and is very thoughtful in his treatment.
I have had a good experience with wait times, checking in and finding a park, although I do come early in the mornings.

My doctor's appointment was great. My doctor is very kind and the person at the reception is also friendly. Unfortunately, the Parking Lot does not count that security or someone who is there to help you if you have an emergency. Payment machines don't always work and it can take you hours to leave. I had a very unpleasant visitor the last time I went. I was trapped in the parking lot and I did not manage to have assistance when I left the place, neither by telephone assistance nor security assistance. Very awful experience because the negligence.

I had a booking for 11:30 am and arrived five minutes early to not keep the doctor waiting. The doctor’s room door was open and the doctor left and came back a couple of times during the 20 minutes I waited. It was clear he was not seeing clients yet I was ignored until I left at 11:45am.

I have to say I’m sick of Medical Centres treating clients’ time as if it has absolutely no value. We are scheduled or booked in far too early to presumably make things easier for the doctor with no consideration of our time being wasted. I find this incredibly rude and disrespectful. Doctors aren’t gods and our time is valuable.

I’m extremely disappointed with the service at Warringah Medical and Dental. On 30th October 2024, I had a phone consultation with my doctor, who advised me to come in for blood tests and assured me that he would leave the referral with his secretary. I attended the surgery on 1st November to collect the referral and get the tests done. However, the receptionist informed me that she couldn’t locate the referral. She suggested that a doctor might be able to email it to me over the weekend but offered no assistance while I was actually at the surgery. Shockingly, I was also told that if another doctor were to reprint it, I would be charged an additional consultation fee of approximately $98.

For something as important and time-sensitive as this, it’s astonishing that Warringah Medical and Dental’s processes make it so difficult to access my own records and reprint a simple pathology referral. While I have found my particular doctor to be consistently excellent, the practice’s lack of organisation and efficiency is appalling. The centre’s policies and operations clearly need a major overhaul. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone until they improve their service and put the patient’s needs first.
