My main gp Dr Bond is fantastic and this review is not about her.
While she has been on leave i have been seeing Dr Szabo, who up to this point has been mostly apathetic.
Today though, I went in for a regular 3 monthly Depo injection, before hand I am meant to see a doctor, discuss it, talk about any concerns or symptoms, then get my injection.
Instead I was rounded into the surgical area and told that my depo injection wasn't acceptable contraception and that I'm at risk of bone density issues, all in the open space of this nurse area.
Had she asked me, she would have known it is a treatment for my severe Endometriosis which is an ongoing struggle to have medically attended.
She basically told me "well you shouldn't be on it" and then left me there to get jabbed by a nurse.
After years of being told by my gps that I am doing the best I can with this treatment, she comes in and undermines my whole management plan in a non private space and gives me no time to truly explain why I'm on it to begin with.
I was left crying in the nurses area because she gave me no private consultation and just left me there.
This is after my appointment was cancelled on Monday with no call or contact with me, no apology for me having to call up and reschedule my own cancelled appointment.
Thanks to this experience I will be taking my money elsewhere until Dr Bond returned.
I could have provided this just as feedback but you don't even list an email for feedback purposes and your phone system is a nightmare.
I'm very upset, hurt and done with this practice for now.

Do not book with these Drs ! This practice is overpriced , takes your money, and show no discretion to bulk bill their patients.. .. and has tentacles ..Try Keperra or Ashgrove! They deleted my post on the Gap Grapvevine, because I was giving sone objective advice on how to save $$$ fees with GP practices in the local area! My issue with Walton Bridge is still unresolved..I will not pay $200 for 20mins of advice by a Dr who show no due diligence when asking for meds! Terrible! I have told the local community how bad this practice is! Try Keperra Medical -Dallas Rd they bulk bill…I feel for those pensioners who are expected to pay excessive fees for 15mins!
After being a patient since 2003. I have transferred my family’s records to Keperra Family Practice. $30 cheaper for a consult, or check out the new practice in the Gap Village. During this cost of living crisis …they refuse to bulk bill when I even hinted for some support. The Practice Manager became aggressive ( clearly she didn’t have kids or a mortgage ) and never rang me back.. Don’t Waste Your Money..there are so better GPs practices that will show kindness and compassion to their patients! 🙁

Don't become a new patient at this practice! There is no continuity of care. I can never see the same doctor twice as there is always a 3 to 4 week minimum wait for a repeat visit even when they say come back and see me next week. Its is very frustrating and costs are extremely high!!

My partner who I've never heard complain about anyone said Dr M. Prasad she visited recently was extremely rude and wouldn't listen to her. Not what you're after in a GP.

Great Doctors.
Reception staff are woeful.
Phones were still on after hours recorded message at 8:50am, the clinic opens at 8am. The Glen Affric street clinic tried to transfer my call, the phone rang out. This is not unusual, there are typically long wait times for calls to be answered and every time I have called I’m placed on hold for extended periods.

Found it interesting that the doctor my husband saw regarding severe stomach pain arranged a referral to a colonoscopy clinic in Spring Hill but they were unable to see him for a "consultation" for 3 weeks.
I rang my colonoscopy clinic and they were able to make an appointment for him within 3 days, which resulted in a diagnosis of lymphoma and he was hospitalised within 4 days.
Both of our GPs from the Clinic have either retired or are no longer practising GP and even after being patients of the clinic for nearly 30 years, we received no notification of our GPs leaving/ceasing practise.
It is our opinion that the practice has become less focused on their patients - their client base must be large if they can afford to treat long-term patients with such little regard and professionalism.
One almost gets the impression that the patients themselves are irrelevant.
We are currently relocating to an alternative practice.

Today I took my sister to an appointment with Dr. Julia Szabo, and I am appalled by the experience. From the moment we walked in, Dr. Szabo was extremely rude and condescending. She sighed and rolled her eyes, making it clear that she didn't want to be there. Her lack of knowledge on the issues we were dealing with was shocking, and she outright refused to help us.
Despite being an adult, I was asked to call my dad, which was both unnecessary and humiliating. She then proceeded to roll her eyes while speaking to him. Throughout the appointment, Dr. Szabo didn’t ask my sister a single question. Her dismissive attitude and rudeness were so overwhelming that my sister teared up from the stress of the situation.
After much grief and insistence, Dr. Szabo eventually filled out the necessary documentation, but she did so without speaking a word to my sister, even though it was required. To make matters worse, her handwriting was careless and barely legible, adding to the frustration.
We also had to wait over 30 minutes for the appointment, only to be treated with such disrespect. I strongly advise against seeing Dr. Szabo if you’re looking for a compassionate and professional healthcare experience.

Ever since the clinic changed hands last year it has been woeful. Reception staff are rude - that's if they even answer the phone - and they don't send off very important referrals. The nurses give unsolicited medical advice and management don't follow up on their promises - I'm still waiting for that apology from the nurse for giving unwarranted medical advice! Far too money hungry these days to actually care about patients.
Thankfully my GP is still as wonderful as ever. If it wasn't for her I would be out of there. My 1 star is in no way a reflection of the wonderful doctors here.
