Excellent service from the Toni the practice nurse/receptionist and Dr Clark. I have had many dealings with them in regards to various aspects of my healthcare and have always had excellent treatment. Toni is always more than happy to help and it's so refreshing to have a doctor who knows you and your history and is a genuine family doctor.

Dr Clark was a delight to work with however the receptionist is awful. Toni, i am sure your job is very busy but you constantly cut people off on the phone, rush them along and have even hung up on me whilst i was mid sentence.

Slow down and listen to your clients i beg you. People are sick and vunerable and the care you show them as the first contact is vital. Please learn to listen and if you can't then find a better work life balance.

Your clients deserve more. I deserved more.

Dr Clark is an amazing doctor, but his receptionist needs to work on her professionalism. Absolutely rude and dismissive, would highly recommend re-staff training as a mandatory requirement for her. Patients should be prioritised and looked after, not ignored and tossed aside for her convenience.

Don't go there, you will waste time and money. The doctor asked me to do an MRI on July 5, he advised me to do cortisone injections on July 26 but did not give me a prescription, or maybe forgot. Now he is asking me to pay for one more consultation to give me a piece of paper, for a consultation that has already taken place. I'm not even talking about the secretary who doesn't listen to people, or who pretends not to understand. why do people do this job if they don't want to take care of them?

Agree with other reviews about the receptionist.
Dr Clark, I hear you are a good Doctor. But your receptionist can be very rude.
I was being very polite, I try to treat people with the same respect that I would like to receive. The first time I got put on hold then hung up on (she didn't talk to me at all). I thought, maybe we got cut off accidentally. Tried again, 2nd time, got hung up on mid sentence. 3rd time hung up on again but I let her know I will be doing a formal complaint as you shouldnt treat people that way - its wrong. I also have my own health issues I am going through at the moment and I don't deserve to be spoken to like that or hung up on, its very unprofessional.
I had concerns about a friend and she wouldn't even let me tell her the friends name.(I understand she can't give me any info about the friend and I don't want any info). If this is how a stranger is treated, how are the patients being treated (who are often at their most vulnerable at the doctors).
My friend has panic attacks, if my friend goes to the doctor and gets treated the way I did, it could trigger them to have a panic attack. And I myself am not too well at the moment so I needed to get my concerns about my friend off my chest. All she did was hang up on me. That is no good for my mental health either. I am okay though, I'm a very strong person.
I made a formal complaint. And I advised my friend to call lifeline if they need help.

After my children’s GP retired I had to find a new GP, thought the one from the Grammar School should be good given the position for the School. My son saw him last year, I couldn’t attend the appointment due to work but my son had to have his mental health plan. I was refused a copy as ‘I wasn’t present at the appointment’. So I made sure I went this year. My son became agitated in the doctors office and Dr Clarks suggested I look into medication for my son. I rang repeatedly and sent four emails over three months trying to get the mental health plan. Finally I went in and asked in person. I was not well and close to losing my voice. The receptionist said they don’t normally give them out. I asked them why did the doctor on the day agree that I would get a copy and why did my previous GP give me a copy. How can I help my sons if I don’t know the plan? They treated my like I was asking for secret government documents. Then they asked who I would like to have a copy. I listed the psychologist, paediatrician, use mental health doctor, the school, and myself. The doctor then said to me that he didn’t get the impression that my son wanted me to have a copy of the mental health plan when we were sitting in his office three months earlier, so therefore he would not be giving me a copy. He then asked about the custody arrangements of my children and when I replied he told me to discuss it with my ex-husband. While my voice began to disappear I explained that it had nothing to do with him and he did not have to get into the middle of anything, that I was trying to do everything I could for my kids, he then asked me to leave.

I would not recommend Dr Clark to anyone, especially anyone who has children with special needs. To this day the psychologist still has not received any documents from Dr Clark.

Disappointed. I called office 3 times waiting for test results, to be told to call back the following day, I knew that they were going to be sent before lunch. I begged for Dr Clarke to give me my bone scan results at 1pm before clinic closes at 1.30 as I was very concerned. I was dismissed and told to wait 24hrs for my appointment. I live 40mins out of town. I cancelled my appointment and saw Tristan today and told him I have advanced breast cancer and that I understand that they work long hours but I wish I had at least spoken to Dr yesterday. I was polite but was told “sometimes we work 12 hrs a day” and to “have a nice day “ no compassion was given. I appreciate we all work hard but I found another Dr that was dedicated to speak to me immediately given my position & not clock watch.

I highly recommend VOSS.
Dr. Clark is very personable. Toni the practice nurse/manager is super friendly. They have both always been extremely accommodating, and helped to fit me in at the last minute.
