Some reviewers have mentioned that this store has a great selection of trendy items, while others have noted that the prices may seem a little high compared to other Vinnies locations. However, many reviewers have praised the store for having a wide range of affordable and well-priced items, including some great deals on winter clothing and gear. Some reviewers have also commented on the friendly and welcoming atmosphere of the store, making it a great destination for those looking for second-hand shopping.

One reviewer mentioned that they found a fur coat for $8, which was significantly cheaper than its original price, while another reviewer snagged a 2000 Sydney Olympics jacket for $100 under its true value. This makes Vinnies Cooma a great option for those looking for cheap gear or Winter clothing.

Overall, Vinnies Cooma seems to be a great destination for those looking for affordable and second-hand shopping, with a wide range of items to choose from and a friendly atmosphere.

If you're used to Vinnies being full of dead people's clothes from the 1940s then the prices here may seem a little high. However, if you're from a youthful suburb where the thrift stores are filled with trendy items then this Vinnies is more for you.

We snagged an amazing fur coat for $8 and this 2000 Sydney Olympics jacket was $100 under its true value!

If you're on the way to the snow and need some cheap gear then make sure you stop in here.

The prices are insanely high. I wouldn't begrudge them for not selling everything for only a couple of dollars, but we're talking about 90 dollars for a tatty jacket that probably sold new for 100.

Op shops are supposed to be a place where people can buy affordable clothes and this place just isn't affordable.

Then there's stuff like old skis for $200. Yes they're vintage, but that doesn't mean they're worth that much. Surely they get enough stock donated that they could sell things cheaper.

I love shopping at Vinnies, Salvo’s & all thrift stores for three reasons;
a large variety of items,
the money I spend is going towards a charity, AND
they offer a great range of items at extremely affordable prices, right?
Well, NO, not at Cooma St Vincent de Paul - the pricing of garments, knick knacks, virtually EVERYTHING in this store is absolutely ridiculous - I was, quite honestly, gobsmacked that this was actually a Vinnies store I was standing in!
The idea of an Op-shop is that you want to walk out of there feeling like you got some great items, at a bargain price - not leave there empty handed, wondering if maybe Cooma was a town where only the super rich must live, because the poor don’t stand a chance if this is their ‘charity’ store!

Insanely overpriced, even by Vinnies standards. Wanted 130% of retail price for a lot of very average clothes.
But the thing that offended me most was the fact that THEY CHOPPED OFF THE COLOUR ON THE TAGS, just so it was ineligible for colour discounts. And they had something I’d never seen before — white stickers. Again, ineligible.
Isn’t that awful 🙁
Y’all gotta remember that your charity serves both the financial beneficiaries and the people who shop here, unable to afford anything else. $20 for a pair of kmart-brand shorts (colour tagged removed too) is cringe. Especially when kmart sells them for $5.

I was a little disappointed with this Vinnie's. Although it was really well organised the pricing was a little high. I did manage to find some lovely bud vases which where a reasonable price. Unlike usual the lady behind the counter didn't offer the wrap them or anything. Perhaps it was just a bad day to visit.

I love vinnies but this particular one which happens to be my local one as we live in a rural area is so overpriced I've found better bargains when in central Melbourne vinnies. Opportunity shops for me give those a chance to buy things at affordable prices, second hand that they otherwise couldn't afford elsewhere even if the item is of greater value. Today I wanted to buy a cold feet box set but it had been searched on eBay by the person managing and it sells on there for $36 so it had been priced at $30.. if I wanted to pay eBay prices I would buy from eBay. I feel like this vinnies takes the opportunity out of opportunity shopping. I get you want to increase profits but you are losing sales. You should focus on turning stock over to allow for new donations by pricing accordingly. This is a charity organisation don't forget that!
