After years of searching, this is the best medical practice I’ve been to. Dr Lucinda Raudaschl is amazing and I’m very grateful to have found such a supportive GP!
I have also seen a few of the other doctors at Village practice and so far all have been very nice, approachable, and thorough. The receptionists are also incredibly friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this practice 🙂

Village Practice is brilliant! The team take the time to get to know you and they provide tailored health care as a result. Even my specialist said I should say a big thank you to my GP (Dr Broderick) who went above and beyond after noticing some slightly unusual results. Her diligence allowed early intervention to be a possibility.

We instantly feel a sense of calm and know we are being looked after by dedicated gps who genuinely care.

I have been a patient of the Village Practice for a few years and recently saw Dr Jessie Fitch for the first time after the previous GP had since left the practice. I had the most trauma-informed and informative experience with Dr Fitch and felt extremely empowered by the end of the appointment. The reception staff were also very friendly and need we not talk about how beautiful the waiting area is. Thank you team!

Village Practice feels like a big warm hug! The building is beautiful and the staff inside are even more beautiful (inside and out, including Moss of course). It is incredible to have a space to go that prescribes a dose of dog medicine in the form of Moss and other cute furry visitors. They bring a sense of comfort to the already immaculate energy that is within the medical practice that you just can’t find anywhere else. I love Village Practice and would recommend to anyone looking for a lovely G.P experience all around ?

Today I had an appointment at this practice but unfortunately I will not be able to attend this practice again. In the last 6 to 12 months was the first time I encountered the practice dog. After I sat down, it immediately came to me and tried to lick my hand. I pulled my hand away before it could lick it and called to the staff that I was highly allergic to dogs. One of the receptionists came over and took the dog away. Another receptionist told me that she would put an alert on the computer and the dog would never be in the waiting room when I had a appointment.

Today I opened the front door to the practice and the dog was laying in the doorway. It is a very large dog, so I had to step over it (this is a trip hazard). No-one is monitoring the dog. I had a conversation firstly with the receptionist and then the practice manager. I advised them that the dog was blocking the doorway and the dog was not supposed to be in the waiting room when I had an appointment. The practice manager told me that the owner of the practice owns the dog and because the dog brings comfort to patients, the dog is "not going anywhere". I said to her, why should I come here with no active allergies and then go home and be sick for days to weeks because of the dog. She told me the dog is a low allergy dog and it shouldn't affect me. That is absolute rubbish. Dogs have dander and the dander is in their bedding, on the floor and in the air (it's everywhere) and it enters our eyes, nose and mouth. I found the practice managers understanding and compassion for my health problem and concern was underwhelming.

I owned cats and dogs when I was younger but unfortunately cannot be around them now.

I've had my first visit with Dr Alicia McColl and she was fantastic. She asked lots of questions and took the time to get to know me. All the staff was friendly and welcoming. I'm new to the area and have found my new GP!
