Been coming here for a while and very grateful that this service exists to serve the UTS community. Dr Albert Ling is an amazing doctor really good at listening to the patients without judgement and could with following through on steps needed to make a diagnosis or asking the right questions to get to a diagnosis. Nurses are good and so are the long-standing front desk assistants.

The doctors (esp. Dr Albert Ling) are good, lovely, helpful, and listen carefully to our concerns. But the lady who serves in the front desk (close the door- who is working today, 22 May 2024, at 10AM - 1PM) is unfriendly, not nice and spoke in high tone. We come to UTS health service because we are sick, so we are very sensitive to accept those kind of unfriendly services. I am so sad when she spoke to me in high tone like talking that I am not human. She could speak nicely if I made a mistake (But, I didnt make a mistake). Sorry to give 1 star, even she does not deserve to get any star. Her services is really really bad. And I just read many customers also had bad experiences with that lady/receptionist. Please the manager, give her trainings to welcome the customers warmly with smile, nice, friendly, helpful, emphaty, and love and care to serve.

I've only ever had good experiences at the UTS Health Service. Sometimes you do have to wait considering there's only 3 doctors at the service but I've never had to wait too long. Dr Leonie is very professional and personable. I appreciate her kind and caring nature and feel like she listens and really tries to solve issues.

As with the other reviews, Leonie Mathews is wonderful and quite simply the best doctor I've ever had. She's attentive, empathetic, understanding and very knowledgeable. Incredible bedside manner.

I will say that I have waited on multiple occasions despite making appointments but I think this is rather unavoidable at a medical practice where triaging is necessary and some patients are simply going to require more time than others. If you need your appointment to be on time, get in early. The practice bulk bills and all of the staff that I have interacted with have been friendly. Handily, there's a pathology lab just down the hall to get bloodwork done.

Dr Leonie Matthews is incredible. I have never met a doctor who takes the time to actively listen like Leonie does and show such genuine care/compassion. She is friendly, knowledgeable, and thorough in her approach to management. She goes above and beyond. I have never walked away from a consult feeling like she could have done more! I appreciate and trust her very much!

I really do appreciate being a patient here but I do leave feeling disappointed each time. The doctors are compassionate and try to be empathetic but I find myself having to really advocate for the treatment I need. I will come into my appointment with research and questions ready but leave empty handed and feel rushed and disregarded. The doctors fully rely on their database and do not offer personalised recommendations. The information they relay is outdated. Additionally, it can take 45 mins to an hour to be seen.

Dr Beena Chaugule is one of the kindest GPs I’ve seen. She genuinely listens and goes out of her way to make you feel valued, heard, and understood. It’s so rare to find a GP like Dr Chaugule, especially at a university health service, so I feel very fortunate to have come across her.

This is a rating for the receptionist. I think the doctors have been lovely so far, but one of the receptionists is very rude. When my NFC couldn't work and I didn't bring my debit card, she demanded I spell out the numbers of my debit card (expiry date and CVV included) loudly for her so that she could type it into the pinpad. I requested to type the numbers myself as I felt more secure if I could do it on my own, and there were other people around who could have eavesdropped on our conversation as well. But no, she demanded I spell it out for her, and yet she still keyed the numbers wrong and got the transaction denied (and refused to admit she keyed it in wrongly). Later she insisted I write down my credit card details on a piece of paper so that she could look at it and key it in, still refusing to let me key it in on my own. She also spoke rudely to me, cutting me off as I spoke and demanded things to be done her way, clearly impatient and unhappy. I don't know her name, but that one receptionist that sat next to the entrance today (23rd March 2023) at 4pm (Thursday) does not deserve a star at all.
