I visited this clinic in a highly distressed state after experiencing chronic insomnia for over a week(first time ever having insomnia), alongside symptoms of depression (not previously diagnosed). I told the doctor I had been taking Temazepam for four days, but was still only managing about four hours of sleep per night.

The doctor—who is, believe it or not, specialised in mental health—prescribed an antidepressant. While I understood the intention, they failed to mention it could initially worsen symptoms, which it did quite severely. He also added melatonin and a beta blocker, neither of which addressed the severity of my insomnia.

Considering my acute sleep deprivation, a stronger sedative should have been prescribed to stabilise me during the adjustment to the antidepressant. I did not feel genuinely cared for, and despite the doctor’s specialty, they did not seem equipped to manage insomnia, which was my main concern.

I would not recommend this clinic for anyone experiencing mental health issues or specially experiencing severe insomnia.
