I've been seeing my amazing psychologist for over 3 years now, supportive & understanding, it's been great having her as part of my recovery for PTSD. However I have to side with everyone else commenting on how terrible the reception is, I have rarely had to deal with them but they do everything they can avoid helping you, it's so disappointing when the psychologists are so great to have the reception running it

If you're looking for a helpful place for your child to be supported through a difficult period with schooling & life, I sadly wouldn't recommend this organisation. The support letter we paid for was next to useless. The Psychologist had only written word for word what I had said and my child in sessions, with nothing added from her own training. After multiple attempts for her to rewrite it, she didn't change it to anything professional or helpful and it harmed our application for the Dept of Education. If you're needing the same thing, I recommend you go to a different organisation, I wish I had.

I would like to write this review to express my gratitude towards this service. Uplift is a fantastic service, that supports the community (esp. being bulk billing for health care holders) and helps people who are in need. Uplift is simple, but good.

I have been specifically seeing Sam for a couple of years. Although therapy can be uncomfortable or even sometimes painful - it is what has helped me to grow as a person. Sam is caring, non-judgemental, compassionate person, who will help you figure out the right answers. I honestly believe I wouldn’t be here today without his support.

I owe a lot to this service, more so to Sam.

The receptionist to me on the phone was not patient.
I had a genuine confusion on how the Medicare rebate fees work and she was not patient with me at all.

I called the clinic today, interested in getting an appointment but was confused with how the Medicare rebate scheme works. I wanted to ask her how it works, but I had trouble finding the words on the phone. However, the tone of her voice on the phone was not nice at all. I understand she had trouble understanding me over the communication breakdown, but she could be more patient and more empathetic.

The best psychologist/counsellor Ive ever worked with, Catherine Wilson. She had helped me through the hardest part of my life, she had provided useful advice and referrals needed to better my situation. Catherine was so open minded and non-judgemental. I have to thank her for giving me all resources needed to better my situation. I had no issues with her what so ever working, the best of the best. Cheers, Ashton.

After two months of sitting on a 'waiting list' to see a psychologist I called this clinic back to discover that they had failed inform me that the psychologist I was on waiting for had in fact resigned 4 weeks ago. Incompetent admin is hard to excuse when you deal with people who are in vulnerable circumstances. I'll definitely look elsewhere.

This is an excellent place with great counselling :: Remember you have to be a willing participant to enjoy the benefits :: If you want to work on your life and improve it then this is the place..professional outfit.

Wow should have read reviews before calling but I was given a referral by my doctor, the receptionist has a very rude demure, no empathy and just hung up when I said I can look into it myself, no duty of care at all
