I whole heartedly recommend Gavin. I have seen Gavin a number of times for different reasons; I was born with spina biffida occulta and this has caused back issues and chronic pain most of my life. Most recently I saw him for a migraine that had been crippling me days. I was also experiencing quite severe lower back pain. Gavin thought the migraine may have been coming from my back and neck and treated me accordingly. My migraine was markedly decreased over the next few hours and completely gone by the next day and although my back took two days to settle down after the treatment, I have been completely pain free ever since. I do find that when I see Gavin, as I have found with other therapists, it can stir my back up more so for a couple of days but with Gavins treatment my pain seriously has completely disappeared. Sure I havnt put it to test by digging a whole veggie patch but usually I’m in pain whether lying down or doing the slightest task. I recommend

Highly recommend Gavin . He is extremly well qualified and professional at all times and has a great personality , with a positive outlook . He has successfully worked on my back and knee problems as well as totally relieving my plantar fascitis . Gavin reasseses the progress of his treatments at each visit immediately prior to commencing his treatments. He also provides you with exercises to improve the function of the areas treated. He is also your “ go to person” if you simply want the best massage in the Northern Rivers. Ask any local or work colleague and you probably will find they also have had their aches and pains successfully treated by Gavin.

I have been getting massages for over 20 years. There’s only ever been 2 massage therapist that sat at the top of my list with regard to being the best. Yesterday I saw Gavin for the first time and geez I wish I’d discovered him sooner. No question - his massage was the best I’ve ever had. I have constant aches and knots due to exercise, picking up my kids and just always have tired muscles. I like a fair amount of pressure in order to relieve my knots and after explaining to Gavin where I was in pain he was able to quickly find and fix those spots easily. There’s a few boxes that have to be ticked in order for me to have a positive massage experience. Obviously the quality of massage. Big tick. The massage table also needs to be comfortable. Gavin’s table has the arm rests underneath and there’s also a good sized face hole so you are not having to breath through the face towel which is always in the way and mostly the case on other tables. Lastly he’s a nice guy. He was professional, easy to talk to and I felt at ease in his clinic. If you live in the Byron Shire or are visiting for a short time and have any niggles, aches or pain you’d be mad not make an appointment

Gavin was able to determine the source of leg pain and with massage and teaching me movements to do at home I have become injury and pain free and have not re-injured myself since. I recommend him to everyone to speaks of back, muscle or joint problems. He really wants you to recover.

Gavin is really good at what he does. He also teaches you stretched etc to help recovery if needed. Best massage in the shire in my opinion.
