Needing to see a Dr on Christmas Day, I was totally surprised to see my old surgery open. My Dr from over 3 years ago greeted me, asking me questions about how I was doing since moving into a nursing home, I was thrilled to see he was still as caring as I remembered. There are still some Drs who are compassionate & caring. Thanks. Hope to see him again. 5 stars for United Medical Kirkwood.

went to get my vaccine with the nurses that was prescribed to me from that doctor surgery but the rude receptionist said i would have to pay for it even tho i had already paid for an appointment to get prescribed the vaccine and paid for the vaccine at the pharmacy. will never go to this doctor surgery again the receptionist are so rude and money hungry and are so dismissive do not reccommend

My husband cancelled his appointment 2hrs prior to his appointment time using the answering machine service as he was not able to get through. He received a call 29 minutes after his appointment time saying that as he had not attended his appointment he would be charged $20. When he explained that he had cancelled his appointment via their answering service he was informed that they do not listen to their messages!!! He was then told not to ever make an appointment at this practice…. Well that definitely won’t be happening. My husband could have very well done without the abusive tone from the 2 receptionists.

This practice is one of the only bulk billing practices in Gladstone, and our family GP is Dr Arun Kumaravelu, he has been indispensable in helping our family. Special thanks to Francine, the amazing receptionist. She’s always responsive, helpful and friendly. She’s very good at her job.

Dr Daas is a complete moron. He says he'll help you if you see a specialist, then changed his story after waiting 3 months and finally seeing one! The lack of understanding is incredible and it seems they're more interested in seeing you collecting the fee then getting rid of you as fast as possible... Very poor health care with NO empathy at all

Rude doctors & receptionists are even worse. I had to change doctors just under a year of coming to this practice as I couldn’t deal with their lack of empathy and downright disrespectful staff. You can complain but it’s fallen upon deaf ears they just don’t care! I’ve left this practice crying multiple times due to their disrespectful behaviour, hence why I’m in the process of opening a case at the ombudsman against them because there’s only so many times you can ask for changes for them to essentially laugh in your face & also on the phone (I’ve got the proof recorded). It’s 2023 people, learn to not be such a “see you next Tuesday”. A smile wouldn’t hurt too, I swear they always look so angry or done with their jobs, I’ve never actually seen a receptionist smile or show any sort of friendliness now for a first point of contact that’s crazyyyy bc y’all are setting the scene for where I’m about to be treated. - Avoid Dr Mina Davari if you’re after any mental health consults she’s very dismissive and listens to respond not understand.

Waste my time and money. Was in servere pain for weeks and no doctor takes me seriously. Won’t bother coming here again. Doctors here are useless and and they don’t explain things so I still have no idea why I was in so much pain. They not interested in helping people. I only go to doctor when I’m I in a lot of pain or if something is really bothering me. try to get help just to get the run around and waste my time with useless doctors that not take me seriously. 👎
