I have never written a complaint about a business before but I felt compelled to after an awful experience I had this morning which left me in tears in my car afterward.

This morning I mistakenly showed up to this medical centre instead of Forster Tuncurry Medical Centre. A receptionist called me forward. I said I had an appointment at 9am. She looked annoyed and asked my name and I said Elena. She shouted back: "I can't hear you! What's your name?". I repeated my name. Still annoyed, she asked my last name. I told her my last name. She angrily asked which doctor I am booked in to see. I spent some time searching on my phone for the doctor's name and when I found it, the receptionist snapped at me that I'm in the wrong place.

I would like to thank the other two receptionists who tried to step in and helped me with kindness and patience.

I am autistic and deaf in one ear so I find social interactions really difficult for social and auditory reasons. I don't want the receptionist to get in trouble but I would like her to realise her attitude and the way she speaks to people with contempt and annoyance is very upsetting, especially when you're already nervous about your medical appointment, when you're alone, and when you have a hearing impairment that impacts your perception of sound and therefore how loudly you speak.

To be treated like this when you're at your most vulnerable is very upsetting and I'd advise anyone reading this to go anywhere else in town. FTMC down the road was great with friendly staff 🙂

Very bad.. Don’t go near this place. Chest pains dizziness and receptionist said go around the corner to another doctor, your not gasping for air. Very bad receptionist, very bad practice.

Our doctor is Dr Perera and she is brilliant, is always easy to talk to and she listens. Severely overworked, so only on a few occasions, I’ve felt just a little annoyed as she just didn’t have the time to fully satisfy my concerns.
All staff at the surgery do an amazing job, even though there is a definite need for another doctor to help fill the void.
Dr Abm on the other hand is a rude, disinterested doctor who can’t even look up from his computer screen, won’t make an effort to look at whatever you’ve come to seek help for, and is totally incompetent - should retire.

Visiting from Sydney and my child is unwell. This place seems to be the only place open on a public holiday and I'm not familiar with the area. Walked in and was met by an extremely rude receptionist right off the bat. Interrogating me about cold and flu symptoms and needing a rat test before seeing a doctor. Not a problem, happy to do it but the attitude this woman gave me was absolutely disgusting. No way was I paying $250 for an after hours consult fee either if your receptionist is that openly rude to sick patients.
I can only imagine what the doctors are like.

Please do not go here. My Mother has been going here for years and I was appalled when I was present with one of her Drs appointments. The disorganisation and disregard by the Dr was disgusting. I recently had to bring my Mum to sydney for care as she deteriorated quickly. She has been in hospital here for over a month and the Drs here have told me the local Tuncurry Dr has mismanaged her illness. Not only was she not referred to specialists for her condition but the local Dr had her on incorrect medications for a number of years making her worse. This Dr doesn't even deserve one star.

We are travelling Australia and I needed repeat scripts, Dr Abm said go to your own Dr. I said
he is 1000 miles away. Receptions ist was
friendly. Nothing good about this clinic. Probs with my feet looked over his desk and said I'll prescribe you this cream. Rudest Dr ever, agree with all the comments about him.

I AM SO ANGRY WITH THIS
Dr Abm or, what ever he calls himself ..
He Is a rude little man,
who has obviously has little to no idea on how to treat people
in my opinion respectfully or medically...
After my last visit with him was a absolute disaster.
I left worse than I arrived after he told me that I was a Liar!? and to get.out of he's room!!

he also continued embarrassing me in front of the whole reception room that was full of people at the time by telling them bout my medical issues in front of everyone
very unprofessional !!!!!!!

I was stunned on how someone like this Dr Abm
could treat you like that...
No need to worry though I'm 'now seeking legal advice and logging a complaint with hccc

I have been seeing Dr Babic now for 10 years , she is fantastic, always willing to lister to you . She really cares about her patients.
The reception staff are alway polite as well.
