Hello to all , I would recommend this facility to anyone in need of aged care .
The staff here are excellent, with no exceptions throughout the whole range of job descriptions.
Very easy to talk to anyone of them about any issue at all.
Your input is looked for on regular occasions , and changes are made to suit the majority if required.
There is always something happening to get involved in if you want to .
Our experience here is very good 👍

Mail for resident(s) continue to be tampered with and not being delivered to intended addressee ? Resident) who as st September 2023 continued to be a resident of Tri-Care in Bundaberg. Instances of Gifts/Catds etc continue to go astray albeit articles are registered and signed for by management /Staff on delivery to this Facility. My true score would be noted as MINUS 10 and NOT 1, given Managements failure in their duty of care to many of the aged residents under their care.

why you ask, where do I start?

MOST staff especially night staff, do not undertake cares of any standard (with the exception of a few staff members) My Grandfather who suffers from dementia was regularly left uncared for, left wet overnight and found by family the next morning to be still in a soaking wet bed and unshowered, he was left to sleep in his shoes several times, and one particular occasion over his short stay, he had gone outside and got wet in the rain, they didn't shower him and get him relaxed and ready for bed, NO!! instead just took him to bed in wet clothes and shoes, with no blanket and the fan on, and of course now he has a terrible chest infection, he also had a raging temperature and needed panadol and staff said they werent able to to give that it had to be done
by power of attorney who is my Nanna, luckily she had some to give him, but what if she wasnt there? it's complete and utter neglect.

He of course was irritable and uncomfortable and in turn wasn't eating, and they'd just let it slip, so most meals he missed unless family was there to assist. Biased Grandaughter opinion aside, This is absolutely disgraceful treatment of our beautiful, vulnerable and innocent elderly who helped create the world we so freely live in today. Completely inhumane, these staff need to be sacked and the place needs an overhaul and some staff training IMMEDIATELY for: 1. the meaning of the word CARE 2. How to care for Humans in general 3. How to care for Elderly 4. How to care for people with Dementia 5. How to approach gently and kindly 6. Bedside manner and maintaining dignity for elderly.

I'm so appalled and upset at how my Grandfather has been treated while in the care of these horrible people. It is not fair. Management are rude and don't acknowledge concerns or feedback, it just falls on deaf ears. There's more to add but I'll be here for hours. Please, I am warning you, Do not send your loved ones here!

If I could give a minus rating I would, I would never consider putting anyone in this terrible facility if that's what you could call it, tricare is a joke.

hi all i have my father in yr care and im delighted with yr service for my father welldone..but i do find when making a ph call to u guys to ask imformation about my father..its not to good..but thankyou.
