The results were far far beyond any initial expectation from my wife and I. Initially we went in because our daughter woke every 2 hours through the night and had very short naps during the day. In 2 days they kind passionate nurses have us tips, guidance and confidence to have our baby sleeping in 5 hour blocks... just amazing.

This increased to 7 hours on our last night there which was just unbelievable. Everyone there was fantastic and catered to our needs. They always listened and have advice that really just worked.

The other staff also made the experience so good and big shout out to Rikesh who prepared our meals and always checked in on us to make sure we are ok.

My husband and I recently stayed at the Willoughby Tresillian to get some help with our bubs sleep. Although Bubs sleep is still poor we learned a lot of ways to settle him to sleep and with the feeding. The nurses are very helpful, understanding and we are truly grateful.

The food was delicious and the portion was very big. The cook Rikesh is very kind and friendly. We didn’t have to buy any food from outside and didn’t even finish the snack we brought. The meals are home cooked unlike in the hospital and very delicious. Thank you Rikesh and the nurses.

My baby and I stayed Tresillian for 4 nights initially to help with overnight sleep. The nurses were so lovely and helpful in providing us guidance relevant to our family and situation. I really appreciated their approach of goal setting and daily reviews. It helped with recognising positive changes even though you felt like you were barely sleeping ?. We not only addressed overnight sleep, but also naps, breastfeeding and starting solids. They also had daily sessions on parenting, mental health and wellbeing. The food was also delicious and Rakesh the chef is very keen to ensure everyone is well fed. We are still working through what we learnt and applying that at home, but I'm seeing positive changes for me and my baby.

The only negative about our stay was the cots. They are not suitable for baby's sleep, the mechanism for lifting the rail is very noisy and constantly woke up the baby. Whoever approved the purchase of those cots clearly hasn't gone through the crushing disappointment of successfully settling a stubborn 5 month old to sleep only for the cot to wake them up.

My husband and I had a great experience at Tresillian Willoughby.
A big thank you to nurses Tania C, Jess, Noella and Sue as they made it such a warm and caring environment for us.They were very approachable and informative with tips on how to settle our baby girl and were happy to answer our questions (as silly as they may have sounded) A couple of the overnight staff, not so much, so night time was an anxious part of the day for us.
The misconception about Tresillian applying the "cry out" method is a myth and I would recommend it to all parents that have sleeping/settling issues.
Also a big shout out to the friendly cafeteria staff and Mr Alpay for being so lovely and kind. The dinner menu may need improving but overall it was a great experience thanks to the caring staff.
Thank you and we will always remember the positive impact you have had in our lives over the 4 days we were there.

Nurses and staff were extremely understanding and sensitive to any mental health needs. Everyone was warm, caring, and knowledgeable. Since my stay last week my 13 month old baby has slept through each night (6 nights) and I am comfortable and confident with settling/leaving to self settle without night breastfeeds. Special shout out to the cook who genuinely cares about everyones experience and needs. Thank you especially to Alison, Mary, Sarah, Jazmyn, and Heather for putting up with my particular nightly routine. Very caring and understanding.

I want to say thank you to all of the nurses (Kim, Susan, Susan, Michelle, Sarah,Ann, Alison, Mary), Radmila the psychologist, Wendy the paediatrician, Carrie the GP, the lady who run the men’s group, cleaners and the chef Rakesh. Such a great service under medicate! They all are like angels… they are there to support you and your little ones with love and knowledge and indeed their experience. Well done to your great team.

Thank you Tresilian Willoughby for your counsel, warmth and care. Your passion for what you all do is catching.

Ive learnt so much from the nursing team and have come away feeling very confident that I can apply the same 'responsive settling' techniques at home and have the same outcomes. I also feel so supported knowing that I can return or use the virtual service at anytime.

Aside from the nurses, the additional support from the paediatrician, GP, counsellor provides a reassuring and cohesive experience.

The food was also.a wonderful surprise. The onsite cook creates nutritious and well portioned meals on a daily basis and asks for feedback regularly to ensure that the parents are enjoying their meals. In hindsight, I didn't need to pack so many snacks!!

Finally, the efficient cleaning staff always ensures that the facility is up to scratch.

The upcoming move to the new facilities in Wollstonecraft will only further the Tresilian experience.

So pleased that this is accessible to all parents!
