Highly recommended GP clinic with excellent staff and professional, friendly and comprehensive service. I need a new GP after moving to the area a few years ago and chose to try this clinic because of its convenient location near public transport.

The doctors are excellent and take time to listen and respect your own experience and expertise. the clinic also has a pathology collection point and a nurse, which is very convenient. the clinic also has a fair pricing policy.

When I first went to this doctor I thought I was a little rushed but ultimately efficient and nice. When however, I tried to have my results (which did not show anything abnormal) forwarded to my nutritionist but the clinic would not do so indicating that I would have to book an appointment. Results that show no abnormalities are meant to be freely shared with patience with out an appointment. It felt that the clinic was trying to get another appointment fee out of me rather despite me having an appointment already book a week later for a referral as that was the entire point of the blood test. (I just wanted my nutritionist to see this stuff that day to see if there were specific way I could improve my diet in the appointment I had booked before my referral appointment).

The referral was then sent to a doctor which I never heard back from. I then move to a regional area and told the reception I had moved and asked them to send my referral to another doctor. The reception failed to update my details or include that I had moved to the remote city in question. I had to follow up that the specialist had received the referral and get it resent because they had not received it despite top health doctors saying they had sent it. Eventually, the specialist replied stating he didn't see the condition I require a diagnosis for but said I should try and see someone in Brisbane rather than including specific information about where I might get a referral in the regional city I live in.

After several conversations with Top health doctors they informed me that I had to book another appointment in order to get my referral sent to the public system. Having already change doctors once over the phone I perceived this as an attempt to get another appointment fee out of me due to my previous experience with the clinic and because it was not explained to me by the reception that this was due to the public health system requirements. Then I received a phone call from the doctor who then dismissed my frustration and emotions by saying I should have a positive attitude as it would help me. As opposed to trying to understand why I was so frustrated. She explained that the public system was different etc etc. Which is all fair and had this been properly explained to me initially by reception I would have understood. She also stated that it as hard to help me as she didn't have much of a relationship with me which was my fault for not having more appointments obviously. Despite my leaving initial appointment feeling like I had been hastily pushed through the appointment and not really asking for much detail about my condition as a whole.

While this may be have been a new case for her I have been living with this for my whole life have a wholistic management plan consisting of a number of health care professionals and a wealth of history about this if only she asked. Not to mention a bunch of research and understanding about the condition and its diagnostic criteria but what would I know I am only a silly patience who needs to control their emotions to not make an uncomfortable situation for a doctor who gets to go home and forget about my condition. I don't get to knock off from my pain I have to manage it for the rest of my life.

I know that a number of these issues are systemic, out of the control of the doctors and staff but having the emotional intelligence to understand that people being upset and frustrated by their experience with our inefficient health care system is actually valid would be a good start. A simple statement of, "unfortunately because this is a public doctor the systems are different and we require certain permissions from you in an appointment before we can change it" by reception would have been sufficient to deescalate my frustration. Also if my address had been updated and provided to the specialist they likely would have provided information on public system options in my region as this specialist also works in the public hospital clinic I was requesting the referral be sent to.

Dr Veronica is truly a one of a kind GP. Going far above and beyond when it comes to patient care. The front office staff are a delight to work with. The office itself is wheelchair accessible and them being happy for people who need to mask to wait outside to stay safe. Imaging and blood tests are on the same floor so you can get many things done at once and their nurses service offers a wide range of options. There are many exceptional doctors at this office and most of them seem to bulk bill.

My friend referred me to Dr Fara Wilson and Dr Fara tried to put me in her busy schedule. It was my first time visit Top Health Doctors and I found that the clinic environment is clean, tidy and comfortable. Most importantly is Dr Fara is a very nice, friendly, patient, professional and an experienced doctor able to listen and give proper advices from different aspects regarding my health conditions. She absolutely knows what should do first, what should follow up/try later and what kind of health checks are good for me as a female even though I didn't thought of that would be my first visit purpose. Dr Fara's prompt actions and work attitude really gave me a very good impression and I believe she is a right doctor to me. I also appreciate two other nice staff who did the ECG test and blood test for me and two lovely receptionists. They all together gave me a very good experience for my first visit there. It's my first time writing a review as I normally won't but I do think they (especially Dr Fara) deserve that. Lastly, thanks my friend Anna introduced a very good doctor to me 😊
