I can not explain the incredible care and treatment i received.
The pain i was in was phenomenal and Dr Kim was so kind and caring, leading me step by step with no pressure at all. Each step was thoroughly spoken about and explained with all options explored. I felt so safe and supported every step, even as I was being taken into surgery.
Kaylene was so incredible with such support throughout, I felt so heard and understood. Thank you both for the constant check ins and reassurance I am so grateful for making the first appointment with you.

AVOID THIS CLINIC AT ALL COSTS! I wish I could rate it zero stars. I urge everyone to steer clear. The alleged 'specialists' here continuously push expensive treatments, promising results that never materialise. They'll drain your wallet with each visit, suggesting new expensive solutions without addressing the root issue. Despite assurances that surgery won't be necessary, they eventually recommend it once your condition worsens. I initially sought treatment for jaw issues caused by aligners and was bombarded with pricey recommendations. Dr. Nova insisted a splint would help, claiming I wouldn't need Botox or surgery. Yet, after weeks of discomfort, she brushed off my concerns, suggesting I continue wearing the splint and even hinted at surgery. Months later, my jaw feels worse, and subsequent appointments only push surgery as a solution, with no regard for my financial constraints. They promised to assist with MRI costs, only to backtrack and leave me to foot the bill. Their lack of empathy and focus on profits over patient care is appalling. Don't fall for their false promises. Don’t let the business name fool you. Stick with trustworthy (personally recommended) professionals instead.

I came to TMJ clinics, and Dr Kim after years of chronic TMJ pain. Initially, my appointments were great, I had Nova who was very reassuring and knowledgeable.
After a few appointments, I was recommended a splint, which I had ended up finding uncomfortable and couldn’t continue wearing.
I was then recommended an arthroscopy, which wasn’t guaranteed to make a difference, but after living with chronic pain since the age of 20, I was desperate for relief.
$8000 later, Dr Kim advised it may take up to 6 months to feel the effects. I didn’t have much improvement (which isn’t the fault of the clinic), however I was sent a questionnaire, which I filled out highlighting that I was still in considerable pain day to day, and I didn’t receive any acknowledgment from the clinic. Despite spending almost $10000 in 2 years, I had to follow them up, questioning why no one had contacted me following my answers to a questionnaire they sent voluntarily, explaining that the treatment so far hadn’t helped. I was open to further treatment, however I didn’t feel the clinic and dr Kim cared enough, or perhaps felt they couldn’t help me and ignored me rather than telling me that.
I did end up speaking with Dr Kim again after following up, where he said the next option would be a jaw joint replacement at 24… needless to say I have moved on to alternative therapies and pain management, as this isn’t something I can afford nor want to go through in my early 20s.
If you’re looking for TMJ treatment, I’d recommend looking for a more wholistic approach. Here they offer you expensive appliances and surgeries that aren’t even close to a guarantee.

TMJ clinic Bankstown specialists are so lovely. I have a mouth splint and a good improvement in moving jaw without locking.
