Excellent Care and Professionalism

I had a wonderful experience at Thompson Road clinic. From the moment I walked in, the staff were warm and welcoming, making me feel at ease. The clinic itself was clean, modern, and well-organized, which gave me confidence right away.

Dr. Chia was very thorough during my consultation. They took the time to listen to my concerns, explained everything in detail, and answered all my questions with patience and clarity. I never felt rushed, and I truly appreciated the attention to detail in diagnosing my issue.

The reception team was efficient, and scheduling my appointment was easy and convenient. Overall, I felt well cared for from start to finish. I highly recommend this practice to anyone seeking professional, compassionate healthcare.

I would never opt to see Dr.Ljbuica after seeing her with a severe mastitis infection and rather than receiving appropriate treatment or support, I was simply told to “go home and breastfeed” — with no medication or further advice provided because it was her opinion, that a baby should be breastfeed!
This left me in considerable pain, mentally unstable and worsened the condition before I could access proper care with Leon and my newborn.

However TODAY, despite that experience, my partner had no option but to book with Dr.Ljbuica as she was the only doctor available. My partner, who is awaiting spinal surgery for four collapsed discs and suffers from extreme pain and nerve compression, urgently needed assistance with pain management. Despite having access to his medical history, recent MRI results, and the fact that his usual GP works at the same clinic, Dr.Ljbucia refused to provide any meaningful support or pain relief, instead instructing him to wait and return to his regular doctor next week.

I find this not only unacceptable but deeply irresponsible. A patient in obvious distress should never be turned away without support, especially when the clinic has all the relevant information at hand. It’s clear Dr.Ljbuica chose not to look into my partner’s history — a decision that shows either negligence or a lack of willingness to provide proper care.

What purpose does it serve to attend a medical practice in a time of urgent need if the attending doctor is unwilling to assist — particularly when patients are paying for these services?

My partner could barely lift his legs into the car due to the pain, and yet he was sent away with nothing. I would ask Dr.Ljbucia: would you consider this acceptable treatment if it were your loved one?

Great Clinic. Good customer service,I really like the Doctors there. They are all really good. Most of the services available at Thompson Road Clinic. For last many years It became our Family clinic.I will Highly recommend this place as a Great Clinic with great GPS and specialists and services.

I was warmly greeted at reception, and was seen on-time by my GP. My appointment was to have the Flu Vaccine and be updated on a test that I had Few weeks back. My BP was checked, all efficiently done. I checked back at reception and was greeted by name by Kirsty, who is always smiling and polite

I've been coming to Thompson Road Clinic since 1997 after I moved from NZ. I mostly see Dr Jim Kourdoulos, so have my sons right from babies up to adulthood but if I can't get him the other Dr's are all very good too. I have seen the surgery go from a small business of 3 or 4 Dr's & 1 or 2 receptionists to this amazing mini day hospital with alot of Dr's & Nurses & Reception staff. I highly recommend this surgery & I won't want to go anywhere else. I love that I can book online appointments & most of the time I can get to see a Dr quite quick if needed, whether it is Dr Jim or not. Everyone is very kind & caring & it's fantastic that I've been able to have the same Dr for this long.

Great set of doctors and the receptionists are quite friendly and always happy to help. Good working hours for flexibility and plenty of parking around. Most of all the doctors are reliable and put you at ease.

Dr Kourdoulos has been my doctor for approx 20 years and is fantastic. I never have to wait for him and he is always friendly caring and professional.
The reception staff are also amazing. They are always happy to see me and have a chat, nothing is ever a problem for them and they are always very efficient and friendly. Thank you all so much. I'd be lost without all of you.
