We visited Dr Ashley and Michaela's clinic through a friend's referral. We were initially sceptical, but we decided to keep an open mind about the treatment.
We've been bringing our 4-year-old son here for 3 weeks now. He struggles with nerve dysfunction that affects his behaviour, mood, and social interactions. In just these short 3 weeks, we've witnessed such a massive improvement that it's almost hard to believe.
The transformation has been remarkable. Last Wednesday at Oz Tag, something incredible happened. Usually, our son clings to my legs and won't do anything independently, he always needs me right there with him. But on Wednesday night, he did everything by himself! He even won bull rush and was so caught up in having fun that he didn't even look around for us. This level of independence and confidence is something we've never seen from him before.
What impresses us most is how much our son genuinely enjoys attending the clinic. Every time we visit, he immediately hugs Dr Ashley and remains completely calm throughout the entire treatment. He wants to be there, which is unprecedented for him with any medical or therapeutic appointment.
We are incredibly grateful for the progress we've seen these past 3 weeks. The change in our son's confidence, independence, and overall demeanour has been life-changing for our entire family. We're excited to continue working closely with Dr Ashley over the coming months and can't wait to see further improvements.

Dr Ashley is a wonderful and caring chiropractor. After 15+ years of chronic neck and back pain, numerous pain procedures, cortisone injections and massage, with only temporary or minor relief. Just one month after I started coming here, I experienced amazing changes in my body. Until then, I had stomach and intestinal pain, went to the GP, and even had a colonoscopy to find the cause of the abdominal pain, but no cause was ever found. I also suffered from anxiety disorder and felt anxious every day, wondering when I would finally get answers to all my symptoms and be able to move forward. After meeting Dr. Ashley several times, I feel like I can finally see the light at the end of a dark tunnel. I highly recommend this place to anyone who has been seeking answers but hasn’t found yet.

It deeply saddens me to write this review, as I was truly grateful and excited to have found Dr. Ashley to help treat my 6-year-old son. From the beginning, I felt hopeful knowing we had found someone who understood the urgency of his condition. Unfortunately, my experience with the clinic—particularly with Michaela—left me feeling disrespected, dismissed, and heartbroken.

After spending over $1,000 in a short period of time on treatments that were deemed both urgent and necessary by Dr. Ashley, I was treated with a shocking lack of empathy. Due to ongoing light rail construction on the Gold Coast Highway and a complete lack of available parking, I arrived eight minutes late to one appointment. I had both of my children with me, and I was clearly stressed and sincerely apologetic. I even expressed my willingness to wait for a gap or return later that day to still be seen.

Instead, Michaela—without an ounce of compassion—told me bluntly and loudly, in front of other patients and staff, that they wouldn’t be able to see me again, possibly for a whole year due to being fully booked. The tone in which she spoke was cold, dismissive, and frankly, humiliating. It wasn’t just what she said, but how she said it—completely void of respect or basic human kindness. I stood there embarrassed and shaken, with my son by my side witnessing the entire exchange. It was deeply upsetting for both of us.

Especially knowing the vulnerable and difficult situation I’m in—emotionally and financially—I never expected to be treated with such disregard. From the very start, I felt pressured to book multiple appointments in advance, despite voicing my financial concerns. Yet, when I needed any flexibility or understanding, I was met with the exact opposite.

This experience was not only disheartening, but truly distressing for my child to witness. I’m sharing this so others are aware: please be cautious when committing to multiple pre-paid appointments, and make sure you feel supported and respected throughout your care. Compassion should be the foundation of any healthcare practice—especially one that treats children.
