I go with my youngest to the chiropractor development center at ku med. I couldn't ask for a better place to take care of him! His developmental pediatrician is absolutely wonderful! He not only cares about his concerns he has, but cares for him at a person. Thank you for being there for my son!

More than 5 stars! The nurses on ICU-5 went above and beyond for my father, especially Nurse Brad ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ All the staff were friendly and kind. We didn’t have to wait when discharged for meds. I have never been somewhere where time, patience and care were given at 110%! Thank you, ALL!

ER team was great, I loved each one of them. They made me laugh when I was in pain. But the neurologist team have huge egos and Dr. Patel ordered a LP because I couldn’t widen my eyes enough for him so he ordered that after throwing a tantrum in front of my brother and I. Fast forward, I’m discharged because someone was competent enough to complete an eye examination with numbing drops and questioned why I was even admitted. The LP was done incorrectly by anesthesiologist (Eric) and I now have shooting back pain that has caused me to miss work and time with my family. I’ve yet to hear back from KU med after multiple calls in the span of a week.

The medical care my wife recieved at University Of Kansas Medical Center from providers was good, but there were always issues with communication between the different offices we had to see and the wading through the bureacracy was always difficult. The worst however was when we left Kansas City (I was stationed there with the Army) was I made sure that all of our bills were paid. But after we left I was stationed overseas and they stated collection on an unpaid bill, that "appeared" and I started to recieve harrassing phone calls from the collection agency. When I called the collection agency they would not send me the bill because they "couldn't" mail it to an overseas address, but also would stop calling me. So I have had to endure two years of harassing phone calls while we waited to be transferred back to the US.

I have been thorough several med systems and Ku Med has been a incredible system. Every employee I have encountered has been amazing. When you walk through the door you can see that all employees take pride in their work and provide a healing environment for patients. thank you Dr's Cunningham Rodriguez and their staff for all of your help and support.

I have been going to KU med Center for the past seven years and have undergone various surgeries and treated through various departments. I have received nothing but outstanding care! I would definitely recommend cardiology, oncology, dermatology, hematology, and gynecology. All the doctors in these areas who have treated me are excellent

I was originally coming here to say my only complaint was feeling like the doctors didn't listen to me or take me seriously. They treated me like a drug seeker. They told me my head and neck CT were negative for anything. I just got a call from their neurosurgery department telling me I have a cerebral aneurysm. NO ONE EVER told me I have one until I just got this phone call!!!!!!
How is that ok?!?!?
I even asked the discharging Doc S Slimmer why I had a consult for neurosurgery on my discharge paperwork. I asked if it was for the numbness and tingling in my left hand and she just said "oh yeah".
What?!?!? Just WOW!!!! I can't even get logged into my chart to see what the reports actually say. Just wow!

When I started with my symptoms I came here because KU is supposed to be the best. If this was the best I would hate to see the worst!!!

The nursing care I received on unit 45 was excellent, in addition to all the ancillary staff. Thank you for that at least.
If you can't trust a doctor who can you trust? They looked me straight in my face and lied to me. The audacity and unprofessionalism is astounding!!!
I'm not some uneducated fool off the street who doesn't know what they're talking about. I'm an ICU nurse myself and this is how they treat people?!?!

Had to stop in on my way through town. Staff was quick with treatment, listened to me with care, and had me on my way with meds in about 1.5 hours. The pharmacy was especially expedient with OTCs that were minimally marked up to provide a terrific value for everyday analgesics.
