I have been a public patient at the QEH for many years and I can't speak highly enough of the care I have received.
Overall, the staff are welcoming, professional, and compassionate.
The nurses are always attentive and kind, always checking in to ensure that you are comfortable and well - informed.
The doctors take the time to explain everything clearly, which helped ease any anxiety I had.
I was especially impressed by the efficiency of the Emergency Department and the cleanliness of the facilities.
The hospital runs like a well - oiled machine, but still manages to treat patients with individual attention and empathy.

An absolutely beautiful Hospital. All the staff are great and willing to help good service. Make sure I wasn’t in pain all night. I got some sleep prescribe me some decent pain medication for a fractured hand and broken arm. The staff themselves are very polite and always willing to help Overall I believe that this is one of the best hospitals in Adelaide so far because it’s the first Hospitals I’ve been to that doesn’t treat me like a Number. FIVE THOUSAND STARS 🤩⭐️⭐️⭐️🤩

Yesterday I had a Colonoscopy Level 1 Procedures in the beautiful new Kangkanthi Building. I was so impressed with the level of care I received as a public outpatient that I had to leave a review. I was exceptionally looked after right from the moment I got there, from the receptionist through to the nurses, the anaesthetist to the doctor performing the procedure. Absolutely everyone was very personable and lovely and took very good care of me. I couldn’t be happier. Thank you all so much!

My daughter was in Emergency department this afternoon & I was very impressed with all staff, from reception to the doctor till the change shift in the evening. She (the doctor) was rude by throwing my daughter's medical report to me & left us in the room not knowing if we can go till I have to ask her at the doctor's desk. Even my daughter saw her throwing the medical report to me & asked me why.

My experience here has been nothing short of amazing. The Anesthesia doctor asked me my choice of music and put it on in the theatre to make me feel less anxious.
The surgeons/ gynaecology doctors were so amazing and fixed all my endometriosis issues and ovary issues.
They put me in a private room even though I'm a public patient. Because of my anxiety issues.

And I can't say enough about Nurse Jodie has made me feel so comfortable and made my anxiety go away

I had 2 procedures done last Tuesday and one yesterday. I cannot not speak highly enough of the staff. The reception staff the nurses and techs the Gastroenterologist and the Anaesthetist. I could not have been treated better by all I encountered. Also a honourable mention to the ones in the background. The Scope cleaner and CSSD staff. I thank you.

Usually I don’t have any problems but had an appointment with ENT on Tuesday and the resident Dr was horrific! No numbing spray whilst he shoved a long metal probe up my nostrils and basically blamed me for not being able to endure it! What has happened to this Hospital. Not enough money for equipment? Or Drs that just can’t be bothered anymore! This whole ordeal has left me in quite a lot of discomfort and distress!!

Presented to hospital today with chest and back pain, waited around 60-90 minutes while people presented after me multiple were seen. "No issues waiting wasn't on the floor dying" But to be verballed When they came to me, they asked for my name and said so how is this any different from two weeks ago?.. I responded sorry?. I havent been to this hospital since last year?. With attitude she said well how is the pain different. I responded they pain was that extreme I thought I was going into cardiac arrest when calling an ambulance earlier today. Symptoms died down went home and advised them if they return ill come back as a walk in patient. Problem is I cant go to any other health facility to get blood tests for this they force you to go to emergency but then you're verbally pushed out the door without any treatment. how can paramedics explain how serious chest pain is and should be investigated but then turned away after waiting.
