I was booked in for my annual skin check only to be told by the doctor that she didn't do skin checks because she didn't have the equipment required. Surely the reception staff know this ? What a waste of the Doctors time and a waste of my precious rec. leave waiting in a Doctors waiting room for absolutely nothing. I was still required to pay.

We've experienced this too many times: being called back for 'non-urgent results,' only to be told everything is fine. The visit lasts barely three minutes, yet we're charged the full fee! It's frustrating and feels like an unnecessary cash grab. Understood that they have HECS debts to pay off but $86 for THREE minutes work is excessive. I'll never go back.

After moving to Morayfield we searched the internet looking for a new dental and health provide. The HUB medical complex at Burpengary filled all the boxes for us. Plenty of parking, great reception staff, and excellent doctors.

A quality medical centre with experienced, professional and supportive Doctors and staff that provide above and beyond the standard level of care. My personal health outcomes have improved exponentially since becoming a patient of Dr Lucy Randall and her team almost 18 months ago. With their expertise and holistic perspectives, my long term health conditions were not only validated but have been treated with care. So grateful for the Hub Family Medical Centre and the service it is providing to our community. Highly recommended.

Lovely staff. We didn’t wait too long. But every single time my Medicare rebate never works!! And they don’t give sufficient receipts to lodge yourself with Medicare so have to rely / wait / chase up info with the reception team

The five star gioes to the doctor only, he was great! However the woman on reception who I dealt with was awful. I assume she was new to the job, if she wasn’t then the people running the centre should be ashamed. I was waiting behind an elderly lady who was talking to her and trying to explain her situation and quite frankly she wasn’t listening to her at all or giving her the attention she deserved as a patient of the medical centre. When it was my turn, once again she didn’t listen, I had to sign a consent form for information from my cardiologist, she got visibly annoyed when I took my time to read it. She didn’t seem to have the ability to handle the role in your busy medical centre and definitely had no ability to show care or empathy.

I had a appointment with Dr.Shery due to pain in right breast. She asked me do a scan and a cyst was found. When I made a appointment for report, she told me it is a cyst and she cannot do anything about it. She told me, if it pains, just take a Panadol. I was with her for 5 minutes. I paid 82$ for gp and paid 150$ for scan to get advice to take painkillers. It is frustrating. I asked the receptionist if I can get appointment for paps smear and gp care about my scan together. Receptionist told me it would be okay but GP declined for paps smear and told me to make another appointment with her. I don’t have a Medicare since I am on student visa and have to pay everything by myself since my insurance does not cover much. They messed up with my tax invoice and instead of them apologising and correcting their mistake. I had to call them 3 times to send my tax invoice to claim from insurance. I haven’t still got it. Most unsatisfactory experience with healthcare in Australia till now.

My GP relocated and I contacted The Hub to enquire about GPs taking new patients. I was shocked by the rudeness I received from the receptionist (Thurs 12 Oct. 2023 at 12.07 midday), she sounded older or mature aged. It was too much of an inconvenience to tell me the fees they charge, she flatly refused, told me to drive there and see the sign on the wall !!! She was rude, short in her manner and unaccommodating. If that's what you get from someone answering the phones, who wants to go to the medical centre. Your older receptionist needs some lessons in how to be polite ... she's the face/voice of your organisation and she's not giving a even mildly good impression.
