I recently need to have an urgent check up and the reception staff in the city surgery and then at Booval were so helpful. I saw Dr Uppal who was very reassuring and informative. He has a lovely, caring manner and took a long time to explain things using diagrams. I have also seen two Optometrists - Jason and Linda - both lovely people with excellent communication skills, who explained well the tests they were doing. I highly recommend the Eye Health Centre in the city and at Booval.

Andrew and his team have always been so good to me. Living with an eye condition in both eyes, you really need a flexible reliable specialist who is very accessible especially after surgery when you live over 3 hours away.
I love coming to my appointments and the staff are lovely and chatty with you. You really do build a relationship with them!
They also take the time to go through costing and make sure you understand what is happening.
It’s worth the drive!

I am very happy with my cataract surgery through the Eye Health Centre, Booval. The Ophthalmologist, Andrew Apel, is highly competent and I fully recommend him. The staff are also very proficient and friendly, making me fully relaxed when dealing with them - no anxiety at all. It's great to see properly again. Thank you.

Visited twice, first time was great, insightful doctor, answered all my questions.

Second time was horrible, reception staff gossiped loudly, Doctor was rude and scoffed when I asked questions relating to the procedure I was to have done.

Wow the staff are so friendly and welcoming, they put you at ease immediately.
Dr Tom Maloney is one of the best ophthalmologist I have seen, he explains everything to you and really puts you at ease, as does his lovely nurse that works along side him.
I'm very pleased
with my ongoing care that I receive , and I would highly recommend this clinic.

Staff are the thing that stands out the most here at The Eye health Centre Booval. All staff and in particular the reception staff are the most professional, friendliest and efficient I have come across in a long while. Also with attention to detail in regards to my eye health I would recommend this centre highly!

Very professional but easy going, was a pleasant experience with all questions and concerns answered in easy to understand terms. Will quite happily go back for a check up or any other eye concerns. Reception staff were friendly and welcoming.
