After dealing with the police 3 x and the paramedics,my demented Mother was taken to said hospital, she was distraught due to my father having to stay the night as he is her main carer, she got violent and aggressive with me,it was discussed with Rachael the paramedic that in my Dads best interest,Mum stay overnight at the hospital and my twin sister and I would take Dad home and give him a night of respite.
But one nurse decided to determine that my mother was a happy demented person, which she is not,and sent both Dad and Mum home, assuming I am, that she had a lovely quiet shift that night.
Upon my return to my parents house I was again verbally and physically abused by my aggressive, demented mother and had no choice but to leave and stay at my sisters.
The police and paramedics, I so much appreciated their help, the hospital was a complete failure, and the nurse asked the demented Mum if she wanted to get into the car and go home, giving my demented Mum control of the situation, denying Dad respite, denying the paramedics advice, the nurses name was Alissa.
I asked Dad,"what's going on"?
He said he didn't know,he was looking forward to a night's rest and was very sick.
This occurred on the 5th December 2024 1445 hrs roughly,I hope I have the correct name of the nurse, she needs further education on dementia and not to assume one is a happy demented person and not aggressive. And perhaps get a decent, more informative handover and listen to the paramedics when they speak to her.

We presented to the ER at about 6pm on a Wednesday evening, The 2 nurses in the ER and when it closed and their shift ended, the nurse on the ward were fantastic. The lack of a doctor and the need to use the video conference was awful. The video conference took forever to connect and the nurse didn't even consider to read the coota nurse notes. She also took too long to order an xray and provide instructions after finally reading the xray. Such a shame that we have a great hospital and staff but they cant even order an xray whilst there is no dr present.

I was admitted for a minor procedure recently, and was treated professionally and kindly by everyone and had a good medical outcome. Thank you to all. My only criticism would be that the state government needs to increase staff numbers. Everyone seemed worked off their feet.
