I have been seeing Dr Ah Kit for many years and find him particularly helpful and kind. He's able to discuss any health situation and options in a friendly responsive manner. The receptionists have been great, and have gone out of their way to help me and my husband.

Dr Ah Kit sees our whole family. We are very lucky to have him as our local doctor. He is very easy to talk to extremely caring and kind. We have been going there for years. An amazing community service. Keep up the good work Graeme ? ?

They were my go to GPs.
But I won’t go back there. The receptionist is one of the rudest and non motivated people I ever met. Especially if you not feeling well he drains you which his moodiness even further.
And I am not the only person in Forestville who goes there and experienced his rudeness and moodiness.
And he give you wrong information or changing constantly his mind.
It’s now the 4 time happened and I am furious. First time he tells me I can just walk in when I need to see a doctor. When I walked in he told me I need an appointment. Next time I walked in and ask for an appointment he told I don’t need appointments just walk in.
Today I just walked in as I just needed a referral to get a monthly eye injection. And guess what…He said you need an appointment. The earliest would be next Monday. Mind that I am flying to Melbourne today and won’t be able to make it.
There was only one person waiting the doctor knows my condition so it would take 5 min.
If you have a serious condition and /or wanna get treated with dignity and respect, I strongly recommend not to go to this place.
And for the male receptionist…If you don’t like your job or can’t be decent and friendly to the people who are sick or have a condition go and find a job where you don’t have to deal with people.
You are clearly in the wrong occupation! Also greet your patience when they arrive or leave that the least you can do!!!

My son and I have been here a few times when we have something minor and can't see our own doctor who's always booked out weeks in advance.
You used to be able to show up without an appointment but you need to book now.
There is generally 1 Doctor who is OK and sees to the minor stuff OK.
Unfortunately I had my appointment cancelled the other day without warning and offered another at the end of the week. Thats an eternity when youre not feeling well. Seems like he's going to be 'out of the office.'
Since when do Doctors cancel on Patients
Also I've rung for appointments before but not had my calls returned.

It's good to have a bulk billing Doctir mearby but unless they honour appointments......

I think they don't publicise opening g hours as they don't know themselves when they're going to be there!

I have always had good service and have been going here for about 5 years. I saw the comment about a COVID test, since when do you go to the GP for that? You go directly to a pathology. The GP is for the vaccinations. My whole family attends this practice. All good.

I just recently moved into the area and wanted a Covid test done as a precaution to going back to work. I Rang to make an appointment at The Centre Forestville as it was close to home, and the mature male I spoke to over the phone was very terse, when I asked him questions. I specifically went here to get a Covid test done just as a precaution only to be turned away. You heard right! I was told they don’t do them here! What kind of Drs are you? Very disappointing and unprofessional. I said I’ll go to my own Drs. 4/1/21. Absolutely ridiculous! I got the test done quickly and easily at Northern beaches hospital drive through!

If you don't believe what the doctor is telling you, get a second opinion. I presented nearly passing out with sickness and he told me I wasn't that sick and I should just go home. Luckily I got my mum to drive me to the hospital and they rushed me straight through emergency to deal with my symptoms. Turned out I had Influenza B and my temperature and heart rate was so high it was dangerous.

The only redeeming factor is that the receptionists are really nice and helpful.
