I've been going to the same doctor here since childhood and she has always been fantastic and extremely efficient.

What lets the centre down is the majority of the medical reception staff. The bulk of them are incredibly rude even at the outset of conversations, particularly over the phone and generally sound entitled and as if they know better than the patients.

It is really disappointing as the doctors here are fantastic.

Had a phone consultation booked, confirmed and paid the $1 bullcrap to book the damn appointment for 4pm yesterday. It’s been over 12 hours and I have not been called, or communicated with. I needed appointment and the lack of communication is just horrible, what a waste of time.. also tried calling at 5:30 but was told the office is shut, when the website AND at the end of the call message says they are open from 8am-6pm, but if you call after 5 you can’t get through? That should also be changed.

Also! I called up to inform them of the missed appointment (on the doctors behalf) and was told the doctor didn’t call any of the patients booked in. Wtf, horrible service

I’ve had a positive experience visiting Dr. Andrew Conroy for the first time today.

He addressed all of my health concerns, didn't rush me, and was willing to listen. I hope I've found my doctor the for years to come.

Although the practice was busy and the consultation cost was on the higher side, I would be happy to return and continue if I continue to receive this level of care.

Regarding the negative reviews about the receptionist’s or charges for getting the results, I have yet to experience any issues.
Which may change with more visits.

Very dissatisfied with this practice. I originally went in for a face to face consultation and was referred to pathology for a blood test. No problems there.

Two weeks after getting the blood test I called the practice to ask about the results. Only a few seconds into the phone call the doctor said "just a moment I need to put you on hold". After a little over 3 minutes they returned to tell me they had not received any test results and I hung up shortly after.

I was then charged the full phone consult fee because the call time had surpassed the minimum call time due too the doctor putting the call on hold for 80% of the phone call.

Soured by this interaction I did not call back to inquire about the test results.

SEVEN months later a nurse calls to discuss the blood test results and asks if my doctor had called me to discuss, to which I replied no and requested if she could get the doctor to call me.

The next day a receptionist called to tell me that for my doctor to give me these test results I would have to book a phone consultation, which I proceeded to book over the phone.

The following day I received a call from the doctor. The doctor hung up the first phone call after 2 rings and immediately called back after (they will attempt 2 phone calls before they charge you), and when I answered I attempted to make the phone consult as quick as possible, but once I had all the information I needed the doctor started to ask me about my profession despite me asking if there's anything else I need to know.

I hung up the call after 2 minutes and 32 seconds and once again was charged the full consultation fee.

So now I have paid 3 full consultation fees for the results of 1 blood test. It is very clear that this practice incentivises profit over helping people and I do not recommend wasting your time here.

I personally think the low rating is very unfair. I've been going here for around 2 years now and have seen maybe 5 of the doctors in that time. I personally only have good things to say. Each one very patient and thorough. The nurses are great when I have taken my son for immunisations. Ladies on reception always helpful when I've needed to get him in on the same day for an appointment. The regular doctor that we see for my son never makes me feel silly for all my first time mum questions and concerns 🙂

I am more than happy to pay for a consult but charging $90 for a follow up call in regard to getting blood test results back is a joke.
I guess $90 well spent to know that this doctor/doctor’s surgery values profit over patient.
I won’t be returning.

My mother had an appointment booked in with Dr Greene at 11.30am today. He's probably a great Doctor, who knows? She never got to see him. It's 1pm and she just walked out of the practice in tears because everyone forgot about her. I read previous reviews about the receptionist being rude and I can confirm that is still the case. Apparently the receptionist tried to ring my mother twice about her appointment while in the waiting room - even though they were sitting in the SAME room and the signage tells you to have your phone on silent. She couldn't get up and just speak to her. One of the other staff members told he she would be 'next in' after seeing many people go in before her over the course of 45 minutes she left. It's an awful thing to feel like you don't matter, especially when you are ill.
