I was incredibly impressed with Tennyson Day Hospital. Every single staff member from admin to nurses, the anaesthetist and my surgeon were friendly, caring, professional and informative. There were documents displayed showing patient rights as well as what to expect from admission to discharge. I expressed I had anxiety about the procedure and every single person ensured I felt comfortable and clear on what each step would be. I had a wonderful experience.

The people that work in here from ladies on the desk to nurses doctors surgeons are all beautiful people .
I was in there two days in a row this week and would recommend this hospital definitely.
To the ladies on front desk thanks for joining in our bit of a laugh while waiting on surgery . 😂😂😂

My Mum had a procedure this week at Tennyson Day Hospital. She was very impressed. All the staff were lovely to her. When I dropped her off, I had a few things to sort out with the front desk staff. They were very efficient and helpful. Dr Adrian Chung is the best. I met him at Mum's first consultation. He is so caring and kind, and has the best bedside manner.

I've just finished having a medical procedure with Dr Sam Hall who is such a kind & competent surgeon. Dr Norton was anaesthetist who was so considerate to me for someone with needle phobia. Nurses Jen, Ritika & Alessia were wonderfully supportive & caring. Each & every nurse were welcoming with smiling faces & very compassionate. A great place with empathy & kindness in abundance. I have routine colonoscopies every six months after my initial cancer diagnosis in 2018. The Tennyson day hospital team, (administrative and medical) have been professional and friendly since the day I first walked in. The facility is clean, well maintained and is always on time. I feel well cared for and respected whenever I am here.

Wonderful experience I found the whole process of having a colonoscopy stress free. I do not have sedation so was respectfully accommodated by all the staff. The RAH has exceptional equipment in their gastro day procedures but under staffed and my colonoscopy was not performed by my gastroenterologist, as promised, but by a fellow who has since returned to New Zealand so even follow up was a disaster.

What a wonderful hospital! The admin and nursing staff are very efficient and caring. I'd like to thank Gretel for the way she tastefully handled my admission to theatre and her subsequent handling of me when I was lying on the gurney ready for my operation. Dr Kevin Parry, the anaesthetist was also a really welcome antidote to the pre-operation stress I was feeling. The procedure itself was flawless under the capable hands of Dr Sam Hall who was also the first person to greet me as a bearer of good news once I woke up. When I had dressed, I was guided to the recovery room by two nurses and offered food and drink. My discharge was just as remarkable as I was presented with a full report of my procedure by Sun, the discharge nurse. She covered its highlights and presented me with the rehab steps I need to follow once I had left the hospital.
That was yesterday! Today, o my surprise, I got a call from the hospital to check that I had made a good recovery. Overall, the best experience I have ever had from a hospital and its medical team!
