Enjoyed a lovely meal last night. Staff were friendly & the varied dining areas were clean. All 3 of us had a steak - 2 of us had the New York cut, & we both ordered rare to medium rare. The steaks were a lot thinner than you'd expect, & mine came out medium. I attempted to let it go, but it just wasn't good, & at $50 (with a 10% Sunday surcharge) I reluctantly decided to take it back to the kitchen. The kitchen staff were fine about it - they provided me a new steak which was HUGE & perfectly cooked! The chips & salad were excellent. A really great dinner all in all.

We have had lunch and dinner here on many occasions and this time it has not disappointed again. The food is all beautifully presented and such large portions. The Battered Flathead and Fish Burrito was delicious and this is consistently the case. The atmosphere and location is wonderful and there is always a buzz occurring in this location with locals and visitors mixing and enjoying this wonderful venue. The food is always well presented and the staff are very attentive. This is a great venue for families to visit. It is the heart of Tea Gardens.

Went for quick snacks.
Chicken wings, what I like I the sauce, nice and sticky! Orange flavour was dominant on the sauce.
Calamari is not bad either, however I prefer cook crispier.
Chips was nice and crunchy

Looking for a delightful location for a family trip; well, this is it. This family-run hotel is located overlooking the beautiful Myall River. The rooms are nicely decorated and there’s a great play area for kids. The restaurant offers yummy dishes and there’s plenty of things to do such as heading to the nearby Caribbeanesque Jimmy’s Beach and its stunning views or taking a ferry trip to Nelson Bay. Highly recommended.

Had dinner at the pub, Schnitty was a good size and tasty, and Reschs on tap was very welcome. Just be mindful that if you're sitting outside then make sure you have some mossie spray.

This review is not about the accommodation, this review is for the pub only. Family went to lunch at the pub, food was over cooked, the fish was not fresh and rubbery, tables were dirty, when we complained about the quality of food, staff ignored requests and were rude. Would not recommend to visit for lunch or dinner, go to the fish and chip shop down the road (Mumms) quality seafood and service.
