Failed to mention they don't assist with ADHD after pushing for 8 weeks for an appointment.

Previous experience 2018

They will destroy your life with Anti psychotic medication.

55kgs to 78kg and mentally worse.

If you're actually value your life don't come here or even use NT mental health services. It's all gonna cost you more than your mental health

Go interstate. Darwin has no real Mental health support at all. Just pills to be prescribed.

Wonder why so many Unalive them selves.

Should be shut down

No care given. Even for the Diagnosed PTSD.

Leaving Darwin because of this.

Thanks for forcing me out of my home town just for treatment.

The ability of this team to work with any other NT service appears to be limited. Getting them to send an email/letter to a GP is apparently a mammoth task that requires technical training. Shall we try spreadsheets, they are terribly poor at updating their attendance records accurately. Data security is top notch as they can't even see their own records, let alone communicating with anyone else.

I had a high IQ, a healthy BMI and a good reputation and was a law abiding citizen. I was forced onto antipsychotic drugs by the Tamarind Centre psychiatrists and Royal Darwin Hospital. Now, I'm morbidly obese, my reputation is in ruins, lies and slander have been spoken about me and I have been having physical health problems.

The Tamarind Centre runs modern day slavery with psychiatric patients treated as cash cow property rather than as people with bodily autonomy.

Antipsychotics cause brain cell death, brain shrinkage, neurodegeneration and brain damage. Antipsychotics increase the risk of cancer and heart attacks. But, psychiatrists from the Tamarind Centre forcibly drug patients with these without informed consent.

Shockingly, me being forced onto psychiatric drugs was prioritised by psychiatrist Abdul over me being able to get treatment for my physical health problems.

I have reached out to this place many times,it a bit of a lottery as to the quality of staff ,they seem unable to retain the kind of practitioner that actually understands what a client is asking, I have since had a total breakdown, am unable to function well am have lost my 1st and 2nd support circles, which of means I am homeless

Don't rely on the Tamarind Centre if you have a mental illness. They are very selective who they help. Many years on and they still haven't lifted a finger in support. Extremely unreliable.
