Friendly team members. Lessening anxiety. Knowledgeable and helpful nurses. They also provide paid car park. The surgery was quick and when they were done, they promptly let me know. The pharmacist was helpful as well, already got the medicines preparedness when I arrived. The facility was also clean and inspiring confidence.

Our country has the best health care services in the world and this day surgery should not be operating. A disgrace in professionalism, efficiently, transparency and most importantly communication. I personally was never told not to eat or drink before midnight prior to the surgery. The lack of transparency of costs and fees prior was never disgusted. In fact they are advertised as a lot less. Other people prior to myself could not pay the fee as they were not told the truth of what to expect. What is the scariest part of all is the lack of communication among the staff. We had a phone call 20 minutes prior to our arrival from the nursing staff- they were going to give my husband a different procedure.
Every other day surgery unit across the country also calls you the following day to check in to ensure you are well. Another disgraceful and disappointing experience from this day surgery. Who is accountable? ......
Just to add to this experience I tried to make a follow up appointment with our specialist and I was told we need an update referral from a GP for my husband.
The form was submitted 6 weeks ago. If this is the case under legal rights and responsibilities my husband should never had a general anaesthetic or any type of procedure. A terrible experience- causing more stress from the lack of communication from an incompetent disciplinary team of so called health care professionals.
Honestly find another facility.

The Surgeon Dr Jeffery Tu, Anaesthetist and nurses were all lovely and did a great job. Only downfall was one of the male nurses put the blood pressure machine on over my cannula, I explained this to him and that it was hurting me as I was awaking from anaesthesia and he told me I was fine, I asked again to move it to which he told me I was fine it was obvious he was in a rush to get home. One of the other nurses noticed my cannula was bleeding and I explained what happened, she apologised and told me she would have words with the other nurse. She told me to take my time until I felt ready to leave.
Cheap parking $4 for however long the duration of your appointment.

I had a surgery scheduled for 3pm and started at 5pm. When I woke up from the sedation, the nurses rushed me to get dressed and go home as soon as possible (the doctor recommended me to stay at least one hour just in case I experience nausea). I said I was feeling a bit dizzy, they gave me a pill and rushed me out of the hospital and called a taxi for me. I ended up vomiting in the street. Not professional behaviour at all.
Two month later I am still having problems with my insurance since the hospital didn't do its job and failed to send paperwork.
In general very unprofessional behaviour

parking and whoever opens the gate is shocking and absolutely rude. Nurses, doctors and anesthesias are amazing, so lovely, caring and helpful. They really looked after me very well and i would love to thank them.

I had a surgery scheduled for 3pm. Per the instructions supplied, I phoned at 2:30pm to find out if they were running behind. I was advised that they didn't know and that I must still present at 3pm. So I did, re-filled out the 6 page admission form I'd sent through electronically 2 days prior because apparently it "wasn't legal because it wasn't yellow". #annoying

3:45 came about and I was still sitting in the waiting room. So I enquired about roughly how much longer I might need to wait. The receptionist dodged my question telling me they were unable to give me any time frame and by 4pm they had all left.

I found myself still waiting at 4:30 and by this stage I was becoming quite impatient. I asked a couple of the medical staff who came to reception about when I might be seen. They looked straight-down at the run-sheet sitting on the reception desk and advised me in a very matter of fact way "Approximately another 90 minutes". I was grateful to have some estimate but at the same time quite annoyed that the receptionists failed to give me the same information

I was finally admitted at 6:30pm, 3.5 hours late. I fully understand that things run late from time to time and that's unavoidable. But there is absolutely no excuse for the way this situation was handled by the administrative staff.

On a positive note, the surgeon, anesthetist and nurses were all lovely and did an outstanding job. If I was rating them alone, I would have given a 5/5.

Never go here! I had an appointment booked in And took time off work. Got a phone call the day before saying that "we hadn't spoken to you in nearly a week were not going to be able to put you on the list for tomorrow". Since when do patients need to call to confirm appointments No apology and proceeded to try and book me in for 2 weeks down the track. Terrible service on top of that trying to put blame on the customer? Terrible attitude shown when I called back. No apology and the blame was placed on me.
